|AlleCattSTU||RE: Lucinda Reed|
Hi, Karen ~ t'isn't it disheartening that some things have to be the truth, but kinda relieved to know I'm not the only person the creepy stuff happens to...so, well, SURE you can repost what I felt necessary to say about such. Yup, I even had a distant relative go on and on to me about how she knew nothing about family, and then (not realizing it was me) making a snide remark about how I should post all documentation for anything I say because SOME people are more serious about genealogy than "others"...like I should waste my time and cash on what one person wants, when FindAGrave is purported to not even be a site to make ancestral searches.
I hope you saw that Lucinda Reed is by family members Margaret, Harry, Enid, & Daniel in 1Family/3 who DO have markers with pictures of them posted...don't know why Lucinda doesn't.

|Waggykat||RE: Jennie Kidd|
"Thank you for pointing out that Chapman hadn't been added to Jennie Kidd's memorial. He sister Maria Hotchkiss needed Chapman added also. Best regards."
I think that Maria's had a thing showing that an edit was pending too ... which I also thought was odd. I know that Find a Grave has some glitches, and I try to go around them, if I can. Thus ... the reason I sent you the note about Jennie's. I have searched and searched and searched on info about Sarah (George's wife) ... but didn't find much. She must be buried in there somewhere amongst all those Chapman relatives and either she doesn't have a grave marker ... or no one has made her a memorial yet. I looked in Great Falls ... where George died too ... and her DC shows that she died in Michigan. I guess that Frank decided to bury his dad by him, rather than send him back to Michigan, huh? Anyway ... I put down the info that you had about Frances' mother ... Catherine Louise Beardsley in my family records. I'm so thrilled to have that info and couldn't have done it without you! Thank you so much again! God bless ... Kathy

Thank you soooooo much for the tombstone pics of my relatives. I really like the one, haven't seen one like it enjoyed the pics and info. Thank you again for volunteering with Find A Grave. I am photographing all of Sand Hill right now and just haven't been able to find time to get down to photograph my relatives in Hillside, even tho just down the hill. LOL Appreciate your efforts and thank you ! Are you interested in helping photograph a section in Hillside, it is easier to do a whole row and get the info on line, just wondered if you might be interested.

|JMC||RE: Verna (Niles) Corry|
Not sure where she connects, I don't have her in my tree. The only Charles W. Corry I have in my tree died in the 50's. There is probably a connection somewhere but I haven't found one as yet. Thanks!

You're welcome. I get some of my information from the (Croswell) William H. Aitken Memorial library and some from the Sandusky District library. They both have a nice genealogy section.

|Shirley Hoard||Curry in Croswell, MI cemetery|
I have posted a photo for Mable Curry who is with John S and Mary E Curry which I have added and transferred to you. If you would like to add a plot for Mable she is in the section Old D but I don't know the grave number. If you would like the grave number the Croswell City Hall at 100 N. Howard Ave in Croswell Ph 810-679-2299 has a book of all burials. (Croswell library) William H. Aitkin Memorial has a web site with a list of the older burials in this cemetery and the Sandusky District Library also has a web site and under their Genealogy tab they have even newer burials but only for the ones that have a marker. If I find more in the Curry family I will place then on Find A Grave for you.

A thousand thanks to you for hunting down Valentine Marquart's gravemarker. And it was a two-for-one with me! He is buried in the same plot as his brother, John F.
Your efforts have helped me to gain a fuller understanding and visualization of my family's history.
