RE: Re - Lt. Peter Folsom
Roger - Your requests were done correctly, and I am the one who responded to both of them. The "Other" category is because the request cannot be fulfilled. There is physically no stone to take a picture of except the memorial replacement plaque that is already attached to the memorial page. Every existing stone in that cemetery except one or two footstones (none of which are Peter Folsom) has already been photographed and attached. This situation is not uncommon with graves from the late 1600's to early 1700's, especially in New England. The stones deteriorate. Also, frequently during that time period graves were just marked with unmarked field stones. Again, no way to get a picture of a specific grave because grave placement records were seldom kept. I know of one cemetery Iin this immediate area with about 30 graves, all marked with field stones. Locals know what families are supposedly buried there, but nobody knows who or where. Unfortunately, what is already pictured is the best you will be able to get. Richard

Re - Lt. Peter Folsom
Roger - You did not enter the request wrong the first time. I responded under the category "Other" because, as the entry said, there IS no gravestone other than the one that is already linked to the memorial. The stone and plaque depicted were placed by family to mark the general grave locations, probably after the original stones completely deteriorated from weather. Richard
