RE: Stafford Davis
Hi Cindy....
So sorry it took me 2 years to get back to you, but I took a long break from researching my bloodline.

I did some research for you (you may have already found this information by now) and I see that Nancy Hall married Stafford David in Coffee County, GA on January 4, 1899.
Here's where my confusion is, after researching Stafford David (I have premium memberships so it provided a lot) it shows Stafford David born 05/27/1849 in Telfair County, GA who was 11 years old in 1860 census, was the son of Joel (Joe) Davis and Roxyan Kirkland Davis. Joe is the son of Dr. Stafford Davis who was the best friend of my GGGGreat Grandfather Thomas Hersey. The Davis family is my bloodline too through Joel (he's the father of Emma Davis also, my great-great grandmother). The confusing part (sorry I'm easily sidetracked) is it only shows Georgia Ann as his spouse on my research. However, I see the marriage certificate for him and Nancy Hall.

RE: Info on Hall connection to Hutchesons
Hello, I haven't found much of a HALL-HUTCHESON-MILLER connection with the names you gave me, but, I do have this -
Lewis Hutcheson, memorial # 98378245,
Penina Jane MILLER memorial # 98380825

Does your GG Grandfather, or any of the others you mentioned, have a memorial?

I don't have a lot on the HALL family. I can go back to a James HALL, born about 1730, who married and Elizabeth ??. I only know of 1 child, Juniper (Geneper)P. Sr. Memorial #32611930

I only know of 3 children from him, with my line being his son Travis Francis Hall who is my 3G grandfather. His daughter, Eddilin, married Green HUTCHESON.
Green and Eddilin are my GG Grandparents.
Hope this helps a bit - contact me any time!

Re your note on Henry Nettles -- I changed his death date but are you certain he died in 1931?

Thanks for the heads-up.

RE: Nettles
Sorry so late in answering. Best way to contact me that I answer quickly is My dad's (joe nettles) father's name was William Simon Nettles. His mother's name was Laura. Dave Nettles was William's brother. I want you to contact my brother Jack Perry Nettles, named after our dad's grandpa--William Perry Nettles. He can update you more than I can on geneology. His phone # is 912-632-8556. God bless and good luck. Warnie

The link didn't work. Can you send it as an attachment to my email? Or in the body of an email? I appreciate all your trouble in trying to get this to me.
Have a blessed day!

RE: Wilsonville Cemetery
Could you possibly email me the link to the picture with Ida Hersey in it? If there are other names on it, I should be able to see if she is relation. Thanks for the offer! Did you figure out how to contact find-a-grave? If you would refresh my memory and give me any information you have about the name or names of that cemetery, I can contact them. If you go into help with find-a-grave, I believe there are questions with answers there to help you figure it out.
Have a blessed day!

Hursey Nettles Davis Family Cemetery
Hi Cindy,
I was reading what you have posted under your photo on the Hursey Nettles Davis Family Cemetery and wondered if you have considered contacting find-a-grave to add the name Wilsonville as an alternate name? I am related to Hursey's. Thank you for the information!
Have a blessed day!

RE: Date of death for Penelope Nettles Davis this point I have no idea where the date came from but that is the date I have in my data base. Since you found another date I have entered that on Find A Grave; hopefully one day we will be able to get pictures at that cemetery and will know for sure.

RE: Family Links

If a child has passed away you link them to the parents just as you do a parent to their parents. If a child is not deceased you cannot link -- at times I will show in the "Bio" section children the couple had.

Does that answer your question? If not let me know and I will try to go further with it.

RE: Lawrence Adams Parents
I copied all of Tanner Cemetery - my father-in-law and a bunch of my wife's other kin are buried there - I am thinking that notation on
Lawrence Adams was given me by Barbara Kirkland,
a find-a-grave friend - we both do a lot of copying then share info with each other to link
people to other members of their family - I think
I remember that the reason we had to note that entry and not link it as Barbara hadn't found
Aaron Adams grave - glad to help any time I
can - Mike Pafford
