Joseph Kroll
Hello!
Do you have a connection to Joseph Kroll, buried in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Detroit?
I have recently found he is the birth father of my grandfather (father previously unknown) and there were a couple Joseph Krol in the area at the time, so narrowing down the search with any family knowledge or story.
Thanks much,
Stephanie

Constance Masella
Hello Steve,

I see that you posted a picture of Constance Masella's tombstone at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. I was wondering if you have any information regarding Constance Masella. I have a few Masella women buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery and was wondering if Constance fits in my family tree research.

Thank you

oops, I take that back. I thought they were both buried in Illinois but only their son is there. Sorry for the confusion. Janet

Hi, Steve, I was looking at the Find a Grave page for my grandfather, Patrick Danaher. It says that he is buried in Mount Olivet in Michigan when in fact (as also stated on the page) he is buried in St. Patrick's cemetery in Illinois with his wife Irene. The photo of the cemetery name is therefore also incorrect. Just an FYI. His wife's page has the correct cemetery. Thanks, Janet Haegele

Hi Steve, this is David Gardenia son of Thomas Robert Gardynik. Can you please make a correction to my dad's Grave, his biologic father is Ignatius Gardynik, not Dlubisz! My dad is rolling in his grave as he did not care for his step dad! Thanks, Dave Gardynik

Are you a relative?
Hi Steve!
I'm wondering if you're related to the Mary Grabowski (memorial 153636800)? I'm not requesting a transfer, but I think this may be Marianna Graobwski, daughter of Josephine Jankowska and Michael Grabowski who was born 07 Feb 1863 (not '68). If so, she is the sister of my 2x great grandmother.

Thank you for all you do!

Theresa

RE: Magdalena Drzewiecka at Mt Olivet
I forgot one more thing that I don't know if you've noticed, but at Mtelliott.com, you don't have to type in the beginning of the name. If it's the beginning that is prone to errors, you can type in the middle of the name, or even the end. So if it didn't come up with Mag Drz, you could try gda and wiec. Depending on the name, it might bring up hundreds of possible matches, but then I try CTRL-F to try to find what I'm looking for. Doesn't always work, but sometimes it does!

RE: Magdalena Drzewiecka at Mt Olivet
I've learned to use the fewest letters possible in both names to get a number of returns that is manageable. So this time I used "Mag Drz" to get
Drzewicki, Magdalene
Date of Interment: 07/19/1939
Cemetery: Mt. Olivet Cemetery
Location: Section 60, Tier 6, Space 280.

I probably used more the first time, but this time I knew what I was looking for.
