RE: William Marion Bristow
Thank you. I will do my best. These Bristows' had such big families and seemed to use the same names over and over! Toni

RE: William Marion Birth State
William Marion Bristow: 101267620 is the memorial number on findagrave; you set this memorial up.

The picture of Mary Kavanaugh was found by doing a family tree search for Mary Kavanaugh on Scroll down to the tree heading "Graves & Mulrey". The member profile name is Mulrey1 on Ancestry. This person seems to have many family pictures.

My husbands lineage is:
Joshua Thompson Bristow, William Marion Bristow, George Washington Bristow,Charles Roscoe Bristow, Jack Clifford Bristow (my husband).

Coline (Toni)Bristow.

Birth State
The 1850 and 1860 census both indicate that William Marion was born in Arkansas.

A picture of his mother, Mary Kavanaugh, has been submitted to That family tree indicates that he was born in Arkansas also. The person with the picture of his mother Mary must have family knowledge of where William Marion was born. I do not, however I accept Arkansas. Food for thought?

Hello joylen,
My name is Eric Koonce, my mother is Irma Louise (Herd) Koonce, & her mother is Irma Lee (Robertson) Herd & her parents are Thomas Cleveland Robertson & Bertha Lee (Elliott) Robertson. And I was wanting to know if you would transfer management of these to me? I have more info that I would like to add, and feel it could be more effectively taken care of if the memorial was under my management.

So again, here are the people I would like transferred:

Irma Lee (Robertson) Herd # 65602148

Thomas Cleveland Robertson # 65817586

Bertha Lee (Elliott) Robertson # 65817571

No obit. for Richard, unfortunately. I am not related. I 'claimed' your requests...and then I do some newspaper article research. C.J.

Dear Joylen,

If it works for you, I'd like to request transfer of Harry B. Lewis, #65678721. I have more information for his family. That his father was Benjamin B. Lewis of Marion, Miss. I'd like to add that and more.
Thank you!

Memorial for B. F. Willingham
I sent an obituary for B. F. Willingham, and noted that the newspaper obituary did not have a comma to separate two of the names of his children. In particular, the names read as follows, Tarlton, Bob Paul and Miss Eva Ruth Willingham. Bob and Paul are two separate sons.
I should have caught that prior to sending the in formation, and I apologize for a time-consuming effort for you.

Baize memorials
Joylen, a lady transferred some 17 Baize family members memorials to me. They are buried in different cemeteries. She saw I had entered some Baize's on Find A Grave and without letting me know transferred them to me because "she is getting too old" and is transferring names to "younger" people.
Well, I am doing the same thing in a lot of cases, I am probably older than she is.
I am not interested in having numbers on how many I have entered, only trying to keep local cemeteries, family members, friends, or locals memorials up to date on Find A Grave.
I saw you have some Baize names entered, do you want the memorials she transferred to me? Also any names you see I have in Hamlin or other names I have you would like to have? I have not brought up all the names, I am sure some of the names are connected to local Baize families.
Thanks, Jim

RE: Orlena Bailey
My grandmother was Orlena's sister. They called her Vadar (her full name was LaVada Orlena Bailey). She was the second child born to Silas and Martha Ann. I believe the tombstone has the wrong year for her birth. Looking at the census records she was consistently listed as being younger than her husband - I believe her birthdate is 1892. I am still trying to locate her death cert. Thank you for contacting me.
