Merline Parish Hall
Hi, I was wondering if you could transfer Merline Parish Hall's memorial to me? I am a relative of hers. It would mean a lot to me.

RE: Elizabeth Ann Ketcham Gaither

Then we'll just decline the edit and we should have the name variations covered. Thanks!

RE: Elizabeth Ann Ketcham Gaither
How 'bout we add "Betsa" as her nickname?

Elizabeth Ann Ketcham Gaither
edit for 29801108

Could it be they put the nickname, or the name she was known as, on the headstone rather than her formal name? In the census records she's listed as Betsy. Are there other records other than the headstone which indicate one way or the other?

Thank you for your thoughts on this correction, which I see you are attempting to make.

It is easy to look at the home made gravestone and guess, 'Jenny', but her maiden name was Terry. I walked the area, but didn't find the family, first try. Another time.

It is a really tragic story. D.G.

A couple of years ago I found my greatgrandfathers farm I used to visit in the 1950's on Sam Road east of Mitchell. The care taker let me look around and take some pictures of the barn, well this year age and weather took it's toll on the barn and it has collasped. I've only been able to go as far back to Wilford Johnson born 1785 in NC died in Washington Cty, IN 1886

I received an e-mail asking for info on a memorial for a Nathaniel Marden in the Mitchell Cemetery. I was in Mitchell in January not February. My records do not show me building that memorial or taking any pictures with that name. The photo added (from someone who has been a Find A Grave for about 2 weeks) does not even make sense it is of a woman in 1937 and the memorial was for someone in the 1800's. Since it says I manage that memorial I have deleted it. When I visit Mitchell and Lawrence County I continue to look for information on Johnson, Routh, Dalton. The grounds keeper at Mitchell was very helpful in finding my 2x greatgrandparents (Johnson) that you took a picture of.

Louise Frances (Head) Mundy
Re: 127796794

Dear RabbitTrack,

I have tried to chase down the information you asked on the Memorial and haven't found any trail on Louise could have been the first wife of Charles Ray Mundy, b. 1918, but there are no death or marriage certificates or census records. Charles died in Florida in 2001. It would be speculation at this point.

I will keep poking around. Thanx, Dan

Savanah "Vannie" McCain Nelson
Aug. 18, 1868
Lawrence County
Indiana, USA
Death: Jan. 13, 1941
Monroe County
Indiana, USA

I am wondering what kind of evidence you have to proof that this is the memorial for your "Vannie McCain"

I have a newspaper article (The Obituary) that strongly suggest that this is the memorial for Vannie Nelson that has a daughter named Mrs. Otto Baugh. That Mrs Otto Baugh is Bertha Ann Moore who married my great grandfather Otto Estel Baugh.
reference: "Bloomington - Mrs, Vannie Nelson, 73 died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Otto Baugh of near Bloomington.... John R Deckard, 65, master mechanic in the limestone quarries, died today at the home of his son, Ralp Deckard.

The Indianapolis Star (Indianapolis, Indiana)14 Jan 1941, Tue".

I have been looking for this connection for twenty years. What I do not see referenced is a connection to my family on the memorial. Do you have a family tree on Ancestry, I can reference?

I would like to see the records that you have if you do not mind as they could help both of us. Maybe together we can solve this mystery.

If you are not a grandchild of this Vannie Neslon, I would ask for a transfer please to Chambers (#48206318) within find a grave rules please.

Best regards

Steven Chambers

I am trying to locate the wife of Swain (Swan) J Andrews.

The 1910 US Census shows a "May M" to be his wife.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been researching the Mango changed to Magnus family. You are correct that Franco's parents are Pasquale Magnus and Angiolina Carnevale Magnus.

Good morning Rabbit
In regards to Westly Burris Find A Grave page it first was done by Jim Bohn. When I mentioned to him Westly was a Great Uncle, he turned the page over to me. I did go to the the other page, not that much about Westly there as to what I have. I would rather keep this page for other genealogists to read about. Best Regards Camdin
