RE: Thomas M. Finley
You are very welcome. I plan to go back to the cemetery on a bright sunny morning to retake the photograph. I will let you know when I upload a different photograph. I did not realize that it was a requested photo until after I made the post.

Please visit my virtual cemeteries for memorials of other soldiers.

RE: Phoebe Dunn
You're very welcome! Soon I'll go to Cullman City Cemetery to see who might be spending eternity with Mrs. Dunn there. (She and Mr. Dunn had eight children, and we only know of two at Brindley Cemetery.)

I am sure there are. The stone has just fallen over on it's face. We figured out who's stone it was by the process of elimination and the location of the two foot stones.

We didn't have anything with us to used to try to turn the stone. A couple of strong men would have been nice. ;-)

Maybe we can go back another day.

Photo request for Mrs. C. T. Daniel, d. 1899
Regarding your photo request for Mrs. C. T. Daniel, d. 1899, Lee's Summit Cemetery--It appears from cemetery records that there is no grave stone. I'll run over to the cemetery today to check it out.

RE: Uriah Porter
You're welcome for the pictures. I also added photos for Edmund and John Porter who are on the same headstone. I could not find Fannie and will continue looking but I need you to call the cemetery for a location. I am thinking she might be buried near Uriah in an unmarked grave.

Mary Apple

Mary Apple's grave location is unmarked. I can take a picture of the grass and surroundings exactly at her grave site if you wish. If not, then I will close out this photo request.
Thank you.

John Veal photo request
Hello, John Veal does not have a grave marker. I did upload a photo of the lot. There are 2 tombstones. One is for the dad and the 2nd is mom. Mom's also has "Jeff" veal on the side. I know there was a Thomas J. Veal...might be reference to him

RE: William Goodrich
Thanks. A comment was added this morning to the photo caption. "Aged 50" is what cemetery inscription recorders have used; that suggests born in 1824 (and not 1816 as currently used).

David in Tennessee
Lutton and Butterworth
I was working on your photo requests for Butterworth and Luton Cemeteries in Goodlettsville, TN. Using the following website I have been able to get information on the actual location of these two cemeteries:

The cemeteries are located on private property. I will have to get permission from the property owners to photograph the markers. When I approach the owners, it will be helpful to tell them your relationship to the Butterworth and Luton families.
