RE: Frances Granderson
I forgot to add - it doesn't mean that she's not buried here - only that there's no record of her burial here. It's entirely possible she is here somewhere. Good luck :)

RE: James and Elizabeth Ewan
Sorry, I checked both forms of her name, and under her parents' names, and could not find anything close. I checked Granderson/Grandison, Ewan/Ewin/Ewing. If it's possible she had another married name, let me know and I will check again. Or if you have any idea what cemetery she might be in, I will check and see if there is an illegible one with a possible date match.

Hi Beth,
Thanks for your note. It is always nice to hear that our efforts with transcribing all these old obits occasionally helps somebody!

Ignatz Sintek
I sent you messages on the 29th and am wondering if you received them. The only way the Zyntek and Sintek families can be connected is by the message I sent you which could be added to the bio for Ignatz and then the brothers could be connected as the parents died in Poland and I don't know how to just add siblings

RE: Mary Wieczorek
Hi, Beth!
just spent the last 2 hrs going over all this again...I agree that Maryanny cannot be Michael's wife, tho they are buried next to each other...I pulled out the CD of all the pics from St Francis - Maryanna Kwiatkowski is to Michael's left, Maryanny to his right, and Josef Szafrajda to her right...

Who is Maryanny (1855-1893?)
Where is Mary (b. Nov 1853, d. 1900-1920)?

The birth dates are so close, both Nov, one in 1853 (per 1900 Census, tho that is often wrong!) and the other, 1855.

I am in the process of adding obits to Sherman Co, but do not have Michael's, Mary's or Maryanny's. I'll find them eventually...also, I'm in the process of getting the original burial records from each S C cemetery, but unfortunately, if they are kept at St Josaphat's, the Sister there will only give access to look up a specific person, but will not let anyone copy... I will find out if St Francis' are kept in Ashton or Loup City...
I wish we could find the marriage record, per some ancestry trees, from WV...
Please let me know if you find out anything else!!!
:) k

Hi Beth,

Additions made. Please check to verify it's all correct.

If there's anything else I can help with, just ask. I'm very close to cemetery and library.

Have a great day

Deleski & Panowicz
I'm researching the surnames Deleski and Panowicz, which I descend from. I have taken dna tests with AncestryDNA and then transferred that data over to FTDNA. I would LOVE to find someone who matches me on one of these dna sites.

Would you like a transfer?

The two memorials have been transfered. Sorry for the delay. I don't do much on Find-a-Grave anymore.

Harry Clay Hervey, Mobile, AL
Thank you for the information on Mr. Hervey. I'm not related to the family so I'll be happy to transfer in the future if you would like. I have added the marriage information and newspaper article. Let me know if you locate memorials for his spouses so I can link to them.

Sorry, I just got to your last email. I see that you created a memorial for Elizabeth. I went ahead and posted the family marker, not knowing that you had put in a photo request. I'll go through my photos this weekend (it might take awhile as I have so many folders for Westview), and if I find her marker I'll upload it for you. If I don't find it I can try to find it the next time I go up there.

You're's so nice to hear a story about the real person behind the stone...what a wonderful heirloom to have! And BTW, they are the only 2 Ewans in the whole Rockingham County cemetery listing.

RE: Mary Kwarcinski Delesky
thanks for noticing, Beth!! I love and appreciate the beauty of the gravestones, BUT as a genealogist I want the info on them!! so i usually take a pic of the stone, then a close up of the info - I wish everybody did that! I tried to link someone yesterday but the "father" had no birth date on the memorial even tho I could vaguely see an age on the long distance pic of the stone - if there had been a close up, then I could have "solved" the mystery!!! happy hunting!!! :) k
