I sent the other person about the same message as I sent you. They have taken down their memorial from Bethel. Yours still stands at bethel baptist in jefferson. Thanks

please look at memorial 96950603. It says they are buried at Bethel Cemetery in Bethune. I have searched for the grave there and cannot find one. But I did find your memorial for him. I am not related, but this is the 3rd one that has a different memorial set up. I am new to Find A Grave and don't know who to contact about this. I was just trying to get Bethel caught up on photos and this is one that is not there. Thank you for what you do.

Me again
Thank you. And thank you for the photo of my parents tombstone. I have also contacted the others with edits to get rid of the initials on the rest of my family. I'm new to find a grave, but so far I have enjoyed it.

I just think that if you know the name, it's better to use that than an initial. Sorry for any trouble I may have caused you. Beverly Mathis Ingram

This is my father's brother. I know his name, can you just transfer the memorial to me?

Why won't you change the O. to his name Oliver? This is my uncle and the O. could stand for anything other than his name. Please message me back because I really don't understand your decision. Thank you.. Beverly Mathis Ingram

Samuel McPherson Singletary
Samuel died at Charleston City Hospital on March 13, 1881. He was the son of James Daniel Singletary and Martha McCants. You will find his correct death date in SC Death Records.

Syd Hill
Michael Russell Hill
Michael Russell Hill was the minster of the Old Midway Baptist Church cemetery (1855-1900) on Old South Hill Rd per notes on the find a grave website. He was an 3rd Great Uncle of mine. Do you have any information on him. Of interest the M. R. Hill buried in the cemetery is not him but a Michael Record Hill. Who is a cousin of mine.

Thank you.

Duplicate
I no longer upload photos and allow people to transcribe because of this. They don't pay attention. So frustrating. Send the cemetery link to info@findagrave.com and they'll merge duplicates
I'm sure it's not the only one 😕

Sarah Galloway, wife of Isaiah Galloway
Thank you for the suggestion "Incorrect cemetery and duplicate of earlier memorial 157743507 Please delete this memorial Thanks"

Are you saying that my request to link to Isaiah Galloway in the Galloway Cemetery is not valid?

Sarah Galloway buried in Galloway Family Cemetery [Find A Grave Memorial# 175281305] was linked to Isaiah Galloway [Find A Grave Memorial# 46823509] by me as someone had posted that Sarah Galloway but with no dates [I think?] so I made the connection and was given maintenance of the memorial.

I now wonder if the Sarah Galloway you posted is the right 2nd wife for that Isaiah Galloway?

BUT my only question is that the Sarah [nee Mazingo] who married [2nd wife] the Isaiah Galloway buried in Galloway Cemetery was shown to have died May 1870 Typhoid Fever on the 1870 Mortality Census! She is listed directly beneath and in same household as Isaiah Galloway who died of Dropsy, also May 1870.

Since the cause of death not same - which I might expect if both died of Typhoid Fever - I did question whether they both died same month.

The only info now that I have on Sarah's birth is 1808 from 1860 census, death May 1870 from 1870 Mortality Census. So the dates on the headstone could match with my rough dates.

So what do you think?

I did not post the original memorial for Sarah Galloway in the Galloway Cemetery but I do maintain it. Now I am wondering if that Sarah Galloway is someone else. I will ask the original person who posted.

Thank you!

Hi ,

I was wondering if at all possible you would be kind enough to go & photograph her headstone over ? I mean no harm but you can not see the dates on her stone because of the shadow of the flowers.. I would be ever so grateful ! But if you can't , it's ok ...

Robert Louis Daniell
RE: Anna Childers Graham
Thank you for the information on Anna Childers Graham's middle name. I will look for the obituaries you mentioned. I'd not worked all her descendants... yet. Curious indeed that those say "Henrietta" and her husband's says "Alvena." As you know, her mother was Henrietta and Anna named a daughter Katherine Alvena. More on Anna's name later, if and when a better record is found.
Best regards!
Bob
