RE: P.S. on Maria Brennan
No, I wouldn't think that that would've been what happened strictly because the obit wouldn't have said that she was taken by carriage to Mount Carmel Cemetery after the funeral Mass. That sounds like she had an individual funeral with an individual burial. Tho she might be buried together with her son. (That boy in the photo just doesn't look like he's 12 years old.)

And Mount Carmel doesn't have any mass burial sites. Even their potter's field section for the indigent, Section X, has all individual gravesites.

Now there ARE other cemeteries in Illinois named Mount Carmel. It's a long shot but she might be at a different Mount Carmel.

RE: P.S. on Maria Brennan
This is what I didn't understand:

Children of Patrick George Brennan and Margaret ? are:

+Katherine Brennan, b. 1882, Illinois, d. date unknown.
Paul Brennan, b. date unknown, d. December 30, 1903, Chicago, IL.

Is Paul Brennan the same as James Paul Brennan? In other words, he might be in their records not as James, but as Paul? And the boy's findagrave page calls him "Little Jack Paul", so possibly he's even under Jack? Whoever manages the page doesn't mention how they came by the nickname of Jack.

But whatever, the Archdiocese of Chicago seems to have no record in it's computers of either a Maria or a James Brennan who died in 1903. They spent a good 20 or 30 minutes for me trying different variations of her first name & also tried all of them with her maiden name with no success. I was just hoping she might be under a different name altogether when I saw the name Margaret wrtten, but if there's no chance of Margaret & Maria being the same person, then I won't bother the office with asking them to try it over again using the name Margaret.

Take care,

P.S. on Maria Brennan
I googled her husband, Patrick George Brennan, to see what might come up, & there seems to be information that her name might have been Margaret? It appears that Margaret and Patrick George Brennan had a son, Paul Brennan, who died Dec 30, 1903. This all seems rather coincidental. Are you sure of the names?

Looks like two of us were working on these stones for you. I have fulfilled your request for Annabel & Johannes. I also added photos for Anna Marie, Philipp, Anton & Appolonia.

I went to Allouez Catholic Cemetery to look for Annabel and Johannes. I found the family plot with the main headstone which is still readable, however the individual gravestones are worn down and no longer readable. Would you like me to upload the family headstone? The office gave me the section number, lot number and grave number.

Resurrection cemetery

Not all graves have markers and occasionally there are markers without a grave. Sometimes the marker was there at some point and can no longer be seen above ground. Sorry that I cannot explain further.

Hi Robert,

Today I fulfilled a couple of your Photo Requests in Vermont. The photos indicated errors in the memorials which I have brought to the attention of the memorials manager. Hopefully, she will make the necessary corrections. As such, the photos as they are now look wrong until she edits the memorials accordingly.

I hope this makes sense?!

Best Regards,

Rick Weaver

Thank you so much for the photo. Violet (nee Stevens) Rogers is my wife's great aunt. We have a dozen or so requests to fill for others; however, here in Iowa everything is under a half foot of snow so they will have to wait a while. We do appreciate your work - nice photo.
