RE: Wanting to find more family members.
I have not come across her grave yet. But The cemetery is huge, and I don't think I'm even halfway done yet. Try the death index: http://germangenealogygroup.com/records-search/deaths.php

Do you want a picture of the area if there is no marker? I will do anything I can to help, I know how hard it is to lose someone.

I went close to closing and there was no time to get some to help me last time. I might be able to go back this weekend.

Do you know if there was a marker placed? I walked the area and did not find one. I will try to go back and have the staff help me. I left the request open in case someone else can get back there before me.

Thank you for your comment. I updated his headstone photo. I watched the unveiling of his headstone on video the day it was revealed, but had completely forgotten to update his memorial page. Thank you for the reminder.

I took a photo of Mary's marker today. Was she married to Joseph 1859-1928? I took a photo of his marker also. Let me know if you want both.

John Evansick is uploaded, I'd be more than happy to clear your last request tomorrow morning if you'd be so kind to call the office at (216) 641-7575 today for plot info. Thanks!

Cleveland Calvary Request
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

I found Mary's stone and just filled it. If you'd like the photo and close up on a memorial for John please put in a request. No sign on Phillip Geoghegan in the immediate area.

I guess I missed the request for Agnes, it's now filled. I looked for your Section 63 request for quite a while but didn't find it. I have a 63 East map, so it must be on the west map. I found the other 63-West requests but can't find yours without a plot map.

If you'd like the photo and closeup on the wife's page please put in a request. (also note that your first name is spelled differently than on the stone)

I looked for your Mary Evansick request in section 63 without a plot map on Monday and was unsuccessful. It's a decent size section, many of the stones are partial overgrown which did not help.

I may have more luck with you Joseph Matko request in Section 83. I do not have a plot map for that either.

If you'd be so kind to call the office and requests maps that show these sections I'd be happy to take them (216-641-7575)

Also, moving the plot info on the 83 and 50 requests to the plot spot on the memorial and out of the note might increase the chance another graver will fill it. A plot maps would be far more helpful though. Thanks!

Calvary: Section 63 Request
Several of us are actively working to clear the 759 request at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland. You have a request (or more) with plot information, however we don't have a map for that part of the section. With thousands of graves per section (400,000 total on 300 acres) a section map is basically required to find a grave.

The office at Calvary is very restrictive with information. If you could please call them at (216) 641-7575 and tell them you have a relative buried in the specific section and that you're coming when they're closed (weekend, holiday, etc) they should agree to mail you a plot map. If you get one please let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address.

Each time I go I have to skip the requests with plot info that I don't have a map for, yours is one of them.

Thanks!

You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are working to clear the more than 730 requests. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have.

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.

Thanks!

RE: Thank you
My pleasure, Sheila. We had such fun reading the names of peoples' pets all over this little cemetery. And I know what you mean about them being sweet and loving companions. We are so lucky to have them.

RE: Hello Sheila
Hi Sheila, I am sorry I have taken so long to reply as I have had a lot of computer problems. And as I type this I am on a new computer again. Yes my Frank and Mary Motko are I am sure the same ones you are looking for. They were the only ones in town with that name. It was nice to see you post to the find a grave site. Mary Motko was my dads older sister. My father and mother are still both living in FL for the winters and MI for the summers. I do not know much about Uncle Frank, but he sure loved is wife. I would love to add your father to the family tree and anyone else you would like to share with me. My email address is bjmor@chartermi.net

Hope to hear from you when you have the time.
