|Ruth I. Stude||Cain tombstone photo|
Thank you for taking the Lewis & ALice Cain tombstone photo. I'd like to have a larger file/larger view if possible as this is hard to read the dates. If you have a larger file would you please post it and send it to email@example.com

Thanks for catching the duplication! I have reached out to the other contributor and we'll work on eliminating the "burial unknown" memorial.
Unfortunately the rush to create memorials results in too many "Burial Unknown" entries which doesn't help the families nor those doing genealogical research.
If you have any other information which should be added to Ada's memorial, please let me know.

I used a "reading" by the Chicago Historical Society which provided the dates for the birth & death. After examining your pictures, I can not see enough evidence to make the change you have requested.

|Debbie B||Albert Barker Fordham at Rosehill|
Thanks so much for the Goodrich family photos, and for taking on Rosehill!
As for Albert Barker Fordham, I couldn't find anything online to link him to Nina and Albert C. But Albert C.'s mother was a Barker, and if the baby is buried next to Nina, I am pretty confident she was his mother, if you'd like to link them.
Thanks also for the link on needlebar.org about H. C. Goodrich. Interesting fellow, and story!

Thanks ever so much for getting that photo so we know for sure where they are buried! I appreciate it and will follow up with the person who made those other memorials for them. Cheers!

Thank you so much for taking the picture of Vicki's headstone! She was a very dear friend of mine.

Just a note to say that you shouldn't feel badly about sending me duplicate notifications. When Lew Browder transcribed about 10,000 of these names to the database, it was virtually impossible to recheck every single one. Thanks!

I sent the deletion request with a request to merge the memorials. I think they usually do a good job of collating the information. In the bio of the original, though, they spell the name Kimble. Minor error, however there were Kimbles and Kimballs in Manhattan, both prominent families but in no way related to one another.
Added by GeekyGraveGirl on May 18, 2017 8:28 PM
Yes, they are duplicates. I'll submit the duplicate request (I have to ask Find A Grave to delete, since the memorial was not created by me). They can sort things out on the other memorial. Very interesting sleuthing on her history. That's what makes this stuff fun, I think. Anyway, thanks for the heads up - always nice to clean up the cemetery records more.

Yes, the inscription is sad. I would wonder if she had order the stone before her death.

Viola has been transferred to you for your upkeep. I apologize for the LONG delay (request sent Feb 24) but some of my e-mails were "buried" (pardon the pun) and I just saw it this morning. Have a good week!

Barbara Jacobs is my 2nd great grandmother. I see that you don't have a death date recorded. She died on October 21, 1903 per her probate packet in Marion County, Kansas. You have quite a bit of information about her birth and siblings which is new information to me. Can you provide me with the source of that information? We have visited the cemetery in Kansas but have not yet been able to take a trip to her prior home in Ontario.

|David & Barbara Truxal||Jacob H. Truxal Memorial #133334936|
Per the Wheatland Cemetery Burial Index, Jacob H. Truxal should be Jacob Rugh Truxal. I've submitted an edit request. Just wanted you to know where the information came from. Keep up the good work.

While the sunlight plays a factor, you and the camera did an awesome job!
I would love to have the original photo and transfer.
What an amazing find!!!! I am still so thrilled. I have called my Aunt Sandy to tell her about this, but she wasn't home. Can't wait to share.
This is my grandfather Walter Verl Binder who was born in Waterville. My aunt and I want to make a trip to Waterville some day before we get too old.
Thank you so much again for reaching out to me!

OK...spoke with Vicki and yes...Minnie is the mother of Margaret, Ernest, Dennis & Lyle. Her name was Minnie VanDoran and she married Edward Schmidt in 1921. She was with him until his death in 1949. She then married Elmer Ylander. Vicki said she thinks she has a picture of Minnie's stone..but I'm sure you'll enjoy the hunt..have fun. I'm going to ask for ownership of Edward...Vicki wants me to "control" these...hahaha..Anything else??? Let me know if you get more pictures..
