Tom,

Thank you for the Butler edit. I will work on the local Huff family and then transfer the memorials to you. I have some tools helpful in local research and it is easier to link family members when you are the manager.--Storres

Thanks! Not too worried about the 26 vs 28 date. The tombstone has the 26th. It may be that the 28th was read incorrectly from the U. S. Social Security Death Index. There isn't an original document online that I can check to verify it.

Frank O. Holden/Crown Crest Memorial
Tom,

I recently fulfilled an open photo request for Carrie Bloom Holden, wife of Frank O. Holden, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville. Since there was a stone for Frank O. Holden right next to Carrie's I photographed that as well. I see that your memorial, and death information, have his burial listed as Crown Crest Memorial Cemetery, however, his Death Certificate does show that he was to be interred in Oak Hill. I have uploaded the photo that was taken at Oak Hill to your memorial for Frank Holden, #127139480.

Kind regards,
KDorsey

RE: Wayne Merritt
Sorry to send another reply, but I noticed you have a private tree on Ancestry.com, thru a photo of Shirley Keiderling married to Harrison Edward Merritt . I believe the photo and the death date for Shirley may be the wrong one. My email is mamamia7396@yahoo.com, but I was wondering if I could send you a guest pass for my tree . would love some input about the merritt and connecting lines... and again thank you for all of the memorials you have posted...

Jacob S. Bloom
Hi Tom
RE: Jacob S.Bloom 1791-1861
Another contributor has a page for Jacob, s. of Herbert Bloom. I had created a page for him after hers. Shortly, I will be deleting my page in favor of the earlier one, on the condition that she make the connection to Jacob's father, and include at least an excerpt of the sources for him. Yesterday I found the following reference for his exact date of death, which seems to have occurred in Little York, Hunterdon Co. NJ. Jacob was a teacher in Hunterdon Co. for twenty some years, and at the age of abt 47 graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, PA in literary studies & surveying. Later was a farmer & surveyor in Little York.

Fruit Hill
I believe I have finished uploading photos to Fruit Hill Cemetery. I've created a photobucket album with all of the extra photos that I can't decipher. You are welcome to take a look - maybe you'll have better luck than I did at figuring them out.

RE: Help !!!!!!!!!!
WOW !!! Thanks for the compliment !!! The only cemetery that I know of in /near Gypsy is the Fry Cemetery...it's the one listed on FindAGrave as being in Nashville,Indiana County here's the URL
https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=44898 ...there was a church located in Gypsy called the Union Church but I don't know if this is the same place you are looking for at the moment...I need to do some more digging to see if that church and the one called the Hastings Union Church is one and the same

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the heads up. I did go and check them out. Love this stuff. I haven't been in touch with Bill Mays for awhile. Will have to get back with him - been meaning to anyway.

Thanks again.

All my best to you.

You're very welcome! It has been a long process, but I'm down to about 280 more photos to go though. When I'm done, I'll have to find a new project to work on :)

Per your recent message. Thanks for the heads-up! Sorry for the mistake in assigning the wrong headstone photo.

Note I have created memorials for Amos Kennard (1837-1889) and his wife Ada. His memorial # is: 166059802. You'll find hers attached.

And, yes I am still in Clearfield and expect to be here for sometime yet.

All the best!
