STEVE, AS I SUSPECTED, IF THIS IS INDEED YOUR ELLEN, NO INFORMATION IS CONTAINED ON THE STONE. SHE IS BURIED IN THE GARSHWILER PLOT, BUT NOTHING IDENTIFIES HER AS A BRANIGIN. I TOOK OTHER PHOTOS IN THE PLOT, INCLUDING THE LARGE GARSHWILER STONE. IF YOU WANT ME TO PUT IT UP, LET ME KNOW. I ALSO GOT A PHOTO FOR HER SISTER. MARK

I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO IT, STEVE, BUT DID YOU NOTICE THAT THE NAME ON THE STONE IS SUPPOSEDLY GARSHWILER, OR IS THIS A MISTAKE? I HAVEN'T ACTUALLY BEEN THERE YET TO SEE FOR MYSELF, JUST GOING BY THE BOOK OF BURIALS I HAVE FOR THE CEMETERY. I KNOW THE BOOK DOESN'T LIST HER AS BRANIGIN, BUT GARSHWILER. IT COULD BE WRONG. ANYWAY I WILL GO GET THE PHOTO SOON, WEATHER PERMITTING.

|Mark McCrady||ELLEN BRANIGIN|
STEVE, IT WAS MY MISTAKE MISSPELLING HER NAME. THERE IS NO ELLEN BRANIGIN BURIED AT GREENLAWN. HOWEVER, USING THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDED, I DID FIND AN ELLEN GARSHWILER, AND HER STONE HAS THE "SISTER" INSCRIPTION REPORTED BY THE PERSON WHO PUT UP HER MEMORIAL.THE BOOK I USE SHOWS THERE IS NO DATES ON THE STONE. SHE IS BURIED NEXT TO THE SISTER YOU NAMED. IF YOU WANT A PHOTO, LET ME KNOW. THANKS, MARK

STEVE, I CAN FIND NO RECORD OF ELLEN IN GREENLAWN CEMETERY. THERE ARE A LOT OF BRANIGANS, BUT NO ELLEN. COULD SHE HAVE GONE BY ANOTHER NAME? THANKS, MARK

Thanks for the photos. I finally got the nerve to call and ask for the plot locations and was refered to Dallas. This is what I wanted.

|Nancy (Hitchcock) Clewell||Woodworths at Agricola, KS|
I walked and photographed the Pleasant View Cemetery in Agricola, KS this week. I have many relations here, and after going back a second time and not getting all of the headstones I 'thought' I needed, I decided to just photograph the whole darn thing! =)
Saw that you have sponsored memorials for the Woodworths and wanted to let you know there were a few more located here that did not have memorials already created. We also cleaned the stones, so have a few clearer pics we posted to some of the memorials already created.
I am planning to transfer the Woodworth memorials into your care. Please let me know if you see any others that belong to your family and I would be happy to transfer them into your care, if they are not related to me also! =)
Feel free to copy and use the photos on any of the memorials that we added.
Happy hunting! Nancy

You are very welcome. Besides going to school I have a few hobbies that help keep my sane in this crazy world. Find-a-grave is one of best forms of relaxation there is.

You just brush the foil with a fairly stiff bristled brush. I only use it if the picture is unreadable. Saw you on QRZ.

My line comes through Jennie Sturgeon and James Forsyth. If you have not seen it, a book by Jennie Forsyth Jeffries is very interesting, It contains hitories, photos and the Forsyth coat of arms. It also has a pretty detailed family tree. I have transfered the site for Margaret McGibbon Forsyth to you. The cemetery is about a mile from my Grandparents farm (John and Grace Long)

Transferred Moses to you and proud to do it. I added a few more details and linked him to his wife Susan. The May Baldwin burried in the same cemetery is their daughter Ida May Baldwin. I sent a request to link her to her parents.
