No actually I'm working on getting the property cleaned up after a few years of neglect. My grandparents farm was next door so I sort of grew up out there. I remember meeting Mr. Johnson when I was a little boy.

|P Go||RE: Stephenville West Cemetery|
Hi there! I apologize, I'm new to this site and must've clicked something in error. I was fulfilling a grave request, not needing one. I followed the City of Stephenville's information regarding Ms. Ator's site, and though I also didn't find a headstone that I could attribute to her directly, I thought it would help the family and others to see the place where she is said to be (that is why the photo included the entire area and the other headstones). Thank you all!

|MFC||RE: Smither, John|
Vicki...I cannot take credit when it isn't due! My information came from the Crown Hill website. The cemetery interment list is well documented and also includes whether there is a marker or not at the grave site. I was just informed of that today. My husband and I hope to visit soon, and as a photo volunteer, I am always checking out a cemetery's request list. I thought people who had been waiting for a few years for a photo, would appreciate knowing that there is no stone to be found.

The downing memorial is 76835409. The Downing name is behind the flowers. It's a common problem with the crypts especially when large arrangements are used.

Gerald Glenn Downing and his wife is Louise Hill Downing, not Glenn. I am working on taking photos at Sunset and have been taking pictures in the Chapel of Peace.

You are so welcome. Glad I could do it. I wish the stones were cleaner. I didn't have anything with me to properly clean them.

Yes, the gym at Tarleton is named after this well-known coach. He died before I arrived at TSU, but he is still talked about.

Hi Vicki. I've transferred both memorials to you for updating as you would like. I'm not related and I would rather see them with some family. Let me know if I have more you are interested in. Happy to transfer. Kerry

I just transferred George's memorial to you; that is a great picture on the memorial. I just love it when there is a picture of the person to add.
Added by Katy on Oct 24, 2012 3:12 PM
I have linked George to his parents for you. If you are kin and would like me to transferr his memorial to you just let me know.
I see you research the surname 'Mims'; I had a Uncle (by marriage) 'William Shadrack Mims' but I think his family came from Alabama to Texas.

Hi Vicki, thanks for the link from William Howard Bowman to father William Crawford Bowman. I don't know if Mary Ella was W.H.'s mother...probably so...I will try to find out. Will get back with you if I find out.

Thank you for the info. I am looking for James Malcomb Granberry or Granbury, and his wife Cornelia "Neely" G. Anthony or Taylor Granberry. I have not been able to find them anywhere on Find-a-Grave. Also, Neely's mother and husband, James Taylor, and Frances "Fannie" Carpenter Anthony Taylor. Can you send me a private message, so I can give you all the info?
