Ebenezer Sprague- Oakwood Muskegon
Jim- please delete the memorial for Ebenezer Sprague that you have created in Oakwood cemetery-city of Muskegon and move the death certificate information to memorial 133415100 which has been transferred to you. It is for Ebenezer Sprague in Holton Cemetery Oakwood where he is buried. It is confusing to have two cemeteries in the same county with the same name. Thank you

Ebenezer Sprague-Oakwood Holton MI
I have transferred the memorial for Ebenezer Sprague who is buried in Oakwood Holton Cemetery. The listing from the city of Muskegon does not show him buried in Oakwood Cemetery in the city of Muskegon. I hope this helps you with your research. Thank you.

Ira Barnes Tuttle was my first cousin, four times removed.

Rachel Huff Tuttle, his mother, was the sister of Eve Huff. John Youngs and Eve Huff Youngs are my g.g.g grandparents.

Memorial# 52632949 Ira B Tuttle
My information for Ira B Tuttle is that he was born on June 25, 1835, and that his middle name was Barns.

The site says 1834, but I could not read the lower half of the grave stone.

Best Regards, Peter

I have a question on your Coffelt family name. Did you have a Ollie Magill Coffelt in there?
How about a Herbert Coffelt?

Jim Please, could I have and original of the 103rd and Neill Singleton sent to : singlays@gmail.com

This is awesome that you have put this posting together. My son, Michael B. Singleton, himself an Army Major, is building a family tree album and to copy the documents from this site makes it difficult to get legible prints made for his memorial.

Many Thanks

At Oakwood Cemetery, Muskegon, MI.
I see you have a photo request in for Ebenezer at Oakwood, Muskegon. On his death cert., he died in Holton, Michigan (a town in Muskegon County.) There is also an Oakwood Cemetery in Holton. If you go to www.genealogymuskegon.com there you will find cemetery listings for Muskegon County. Click on databases, then cemeteries and scroll down to Oakwood, Holton. There are several Spragues listed, I don't know if they are connected, but you can check it out. I don't believe I can help at Oakwood, Muskegon. Good Luck, MJ

Caroline Patterson - Patterson Cemetery
Hi Jim,

I appreciate your calling my attention to my mistake of linking this Caroline as wife of Samuel Patterson. I don't have it that way in my family tree program so don't know why I did that. How embarrassing. I've fixed it as well as doing other links throughout the Patterson Cemetery. Hope I didn't make any more mistakes.

I have to disagree, though, that this Caroline Patterson was the wife of Robert Patterson and daughter of Jacob Burger. I don't think this Caroline was ever married. In 1850 this Caroline (Carolina) is listed in the household of William Patterson in Wilson County TN. In 1850 there is also a Caroline with Robert in Cannon County TN with Jacob Burger in the household. Looks to me to be 2 different Carolines.

Do you have something that proves otherwise? Although the Pattersons in this cemetery were my family, I haven't done any heavy research on them so don't think I have anything to prove I'm right either.

Thanks again for pointing out my mistake.

Gale Miller
Cadillac Memorial Gardens
Hi Jim,

I got your request for photos of your family's graves. As soon as the snow melts enough to get a decent photo, I will be happy to fulfill your request.

I have a few more requests so I will pick a good day and take all of them at the same time. I also have my parents, grandfather and husband buried there and I am there often to maintain their graves so it's no problem at all.

Take care and blessings,

Gale Miller

Judy Smith Aldrich
Ashley Family
I am not a relative of the Tuttle/Ashley family but my brother-in-law was adopted into the Gotts/Tuttle family. Mabel Mildred Tuttle was the daughter of George B Tuttle and Elle Smith. Her grandparents were Joseph King Tuttle and Rachel E Ashley. I'm not sure of the story but I think Rachel E Ashley helped raise Mildred. My brother-in-law has an Ashley Bible and medical tools of Calvin Fillmore Ashley MD his father was Thomas Ashley and Rachel Woodward. Judy Smith Aldrich
