She married James Mumford on 18 Jan 1852 in Nantucket. When she married Charles on 16 Dec 1873 it was her third marriage and her name was listed as Davis. I did not find any record of her second marriage.

RE: Stegmaier, Mary O'Brien
When I put in Theodore A Stegmaier, and Massachusetts, at the bottom of first page, it has entry for Mary, 1860, spouse Theo A Stegmaier. When it's expanded, it says 1860 is an estimated year based on its being the 1920 census and her age is 60. I haven't even gone to next page yet, there may be more. And William is next for me to check. (below is part of the expanded section)

Thank you very much for your assistance. I was able to access the book and found it most helpful. It answered the questions I had and also had information about a few of my other Santa Ana ancestors. Many thanks. And thank you for all the hard work and time you put in as a findagrave contributor. It is much appreciated.

Roert James Thompson and wife
I see that you added a picture of Mr and Mrs Thompson to their memorials (Santa Ana Cemetery.)Mr Thompson's wife Evelyn (or Eva) keeps popping up in my family tree but I have been unable to figure out her maiden name. I'm at a dead end. I wonder if you know it and can tell me her name and parents' names. Thank you so much.

Robert Howard
Do you live near Ashland Cemetery in Brockton? Captain Robert Howard 40467682, the 5th great grandfather of my wife's, has many of his children buried there. Some headstones are shown but others are not.

RE: Capt James Howard
Thank you very much. Speaking about more than one headstone for the same person, I found a man's name on three separate headstones in three separate towns. What I discovered was that he was married three times. Each time a wife died his name and date of birth was placed also on the headstone for his future death. However he would remarry and move and the same thing happened again until on the third's wife headstone his date of death was listed since he was buried with his third wife.

Capt James Howard
Sandra,
How do we get all the children showing they have a mother and father on their personal memorial that someone can click on and go directly to the parent. Right now you have two sons with the Captain and the other person has a daughter with both a mother and father.
This could be very confusing to a new user on Find A Grave.

Thank you and I will delete the information from your memorial.I had thought it would have given some understanding of why there were two headstones. I guess that's the teacher in me. I will delete it today. Thank you for your understanding. Have a great day.

RE: Capt. James Howard
What I placed on the memorial is not my opinion. The lady states that the Oak Grove Lot card does state that the Captain is interred with his wife at Oak Grove. The message I placed on the memorial are the words from the member of the Plymouth Cemetery Committee. They are not my words or opinion.
