You might have better luck getting a picture if you know the grave location. Perhaps a call to the cemetery can get you that info. There are 42 sections there. It is a huge cemetery! Here is a link to the map:

RE: pic request
Actually... I am pretty near to most of your photo requests on your page. If you contact the Clarence Centre, Mount Pleasant, North Shelby or Mountain Ridge cemeteries to find out where the gravestones are. Those are the closest to me. I would be happy to go take pics for you! I have a friend that works at the Acacia Park Cemetery, I will reach out to him as well. :)

George and Blanche Schurr photos

I just wanted to let you know when I went over to the cemetery and took the pics for George and Blanche, I grabbed a couple others if you are interested.
Immediately to the left of George and Blanche Schurr's grave there are two stones, Infant Schurr and M. Larue Schurr, which I will upload to the site.
Then at George and Blanche's feet are George (d1988) and his wife Thelma. I have a shot of the group together if you would like me to add it to someone's grave page I can.

Donna Wilhelm Rose
Any help?
Another find a grave member saw that I made a memorial for a photo I took and I transfered to Find a Grave#8. She has tried to contact them with no luck, she wants for it to be transfered to her to maintain and connect family to it, any suggestions to help her?

RE: Fred Blount Gravesite Photo at Boxwood
You're welcome! We had a family scavenger hunt looking for markers for which photos have been requested. We only covered one small section of the cemetery so if you have more photos requested from there we may find them during a future excursion.

Robert Dunford
RE: Howard A. & Ruth S. Donner
Hello Ellen. Thank you for notifying me about the status. If I remember I try to check death notices to verify a relationship. Sometimes I get sloppy and base a guess on inscriptions like "Father" and "Mother". I also was not sure if people checked the captions on photos but try to add information when possible. Let me know if the captions work.

Caroline Adams
Ellen, we don't have a record of a Caroline Adams buried at Woodland Cemetery, nor a death certificate or newpaper article. Could she have been buried under a different name? It's also rare for someone who died in Norvell to be buried at a city cemetery. Can you give me some other names we can look under.

If she is at Woodland, there is no marker. After the fire in 1929, only those with markers could be re-created. She's not listed.

RE: Roseland Park Cemetery
Hi Ellen,

You're welcome! As for Joseph Willis, I couldn't find anything clearly marked with his name. There was a small broken white stone in the ground right next to Harvey's marker, which I'm assuming is his. But there is nothing legible on it. I did take a photo of it just in case. Let me know if you would like me to post that one too or email it to you.

RE: pic request
Actually... on going back to your account, it looks like you have a LOT of requests in my area. I would be willing to help you with the ones in the Clarence Centre, Mount Pleasant, Mountain Ridge, North Shelby, St. Patricks, Hartland Central, Glenwood or St. Mary's Catholic cemeteries. I looked at the first few I came across, and there was no location mentioned. If you get me those, I will go hunting for you.

I found your Find-a-Grave request. I am very close by. If you could tell me where exactly this plot is in the cemetery, I would be happy to go over and take a few pictures for you.

Hi Ellen,
I just transferred Herbert's page to you. We are taking photos of all the stones in St. Bridget's in East Bloomfield, and I felt you should have his page.

Find A Grave Memorial# 131375100

Hello! You so graciously entered my relative's information on I believe that his death date is August 14, 1935, not July 14, 1935.

The Gazette paper is dated August. Also other genealogical records relay the death was in August. Thank you for all the work that you do to keep our loved ones remembered.

RE: Blount Photo Request at Mountain Ridge
My husband's family had a lot of people in Wilson. I am originally a McAvoy and my great aunt and uncle lived on Lake Street as well. We took photos of the entire cemetery today, so expect the rest of your requests in North Shelby to be fulfilled. My sister must have the rest.

RE: Moshers
Hi, Ellen,

I sent along Harold, Barb, and Matt - I really don't like breaking up immediate families.

I also made a memorial for Don. I've filled in what info I found in his obit and linked him to his parents (Harold is also linked to them). I've also sent him over to you. I'll find out his new address and send it to you as an edit. It may be a while before he has a marker, but I'll watch for it.

Yes, their Dad died when he was only about 35 years old. I'm sure their Mom was completely overwhelmed. It's good that your grandparents were there for the kids! And I couldn't care less what the exact relationship is - or even if there is one. They're with someone who knows and cares about them, and that's what matters.

I forgot to add a request in my first note that you give your Mom a hug for me, but now I realize that she really needs one. Hope she is doing okay.

Take care.

Hi, Ellen,

Thanks for the edits for the Moshers. I think I got everyone connected properly, but please take a look and let me know if you see anything wrong.

Once again, if you'd like to manage these or other memorials, just let me know.

Take care.

RE: Gordon Peters (Mountain Ridge)
Hi, Ellen,

I accepted the edits and added a note to Gordon's bio section about his place of birth.

As always, let me know who you would like to care for, and I'll get them transferred to you. (I accepted the edits without noting everyone they were for - sorry!) I love to see folks go home!

I'm trying to get to White Chapel, and I have a list of your photo requests. I'll need to check to see if you've added any since I made the list. Not promising because this summer has been really, really, hard - I haven't been off the farm except to get groceries and building materials all summer!

Take care.
