I'm sorry, I searched the cemetery and did not find their stones. There are so many that I could not read, but I will try again for you when it's a little warmer and sunny!

Find A Grave Memorial# 64015683 Patience McCoy Bartlett
Do you have any knowledge as to why her surname was McCoy and her father was Enoch McKay? Was there an official name change or do you happen to know who might know?

I live in Frankfort. Oh and I forgot to tell you I get the obits off of microfilm in the library. Who knows I might have more obits. Added over a hundred
years of them.

Hello Jerry, Sorry for the long delay.

Riverside Cemetery in Morrison Co is almost two hours from my location. I happened to be on a business trip with my husband and stopped by to fulfill a few photo requests. Wish I was closer to help you.

Just keep requesting photos. One day "Surprise" and it will be there for you.

Sincerely,
Ladygraver

Just a little humor for the day - have you looked on a map - do you have any idea where Balentine Cemetery is in southern Wayne Co. I did 12 cemeteries that day and never saw even a country store to get a bottle of water - a couple of times - once at Balentine - someone pulled in behind me to inquire what I was doing at THEIR cemetery.
Interesting part of Tennessee. Have a great holiday.

RE: Verda H Gish
I ONLY MEANT IF THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE IN THE SAME PLOT DUE TO THEIR PROXIMITY TO OTHERS U ARE PHOTOGRAPHING. I'LL GIVE U A RECENT EXAMPLE AT THE SAME CEMETERY YOUR REQUEST WAS FROM THE REQUEST WAS WARD TURNER Find A Grave# 28314747 AND THERE WAS SEVERAL FAMILIES WITH MATCHING STONES AND ON THE ONE SIDE OF THEIR PLOT WAS SOME OLDER STYLE STONES WITH ONE NEXT TO THE FAMILY MARKER STONE SO I INCLUDED THEM AS WELL IN THE FAMILY GROUP PHOTO. THEN WHILE ADDING THE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS TO Find A Grave THE ONE CAROLINE E.TURNER WAS A GARVEY MAIDEN NAME Find A Grave# 28315067 WHICH WAS IN THE HYPERLINKS ON ONE OF TURNER MEMORIALS. IT DOESN'T HURT TO HAVE OTHER MEMORIALS IN A PHOTO THEY CAN BE USED AS LANDMARKS TO THE OTHERS AS WELL.AND ANOTHER IN THE SAME CEMETERY THERE WAS A REQUEST FOR A BENJAMIN BARRITT BUT ANOTHER BARRITT, A DAVID FREDERICK WAS A FEW SPACES OVER SO I INCLUDED THEM BOTH IN A GROUP SHOT AND THE PERSON THAT REQUESTED BENJAMIN SAID THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO DO SOME MORE CHECKING ON THE OTHER BUT I CAN TELL HIM NOW ITS A RELATIVE !!! I WOULD HAVE TO CHECK AROUND FOR OTHER GISH TO KNOW FOR SURE AND IF U WANT GO TO MY Find A Grave SITE AND LOOK AT MORE OF THE PHOTOS I TAKE THERE. GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK !!!

RE: Verda H Gish
YOUR WELCOME JERRY, AND CAN I SUGGEST THAT IN THE FUTURE IF TAKING PHOTOS FOR Find A Grave OR OTHER SIMULAR SITES THAT U INCLUDE OTHER MEMBERS IN THAT AREA AS A PICTURE AND NOT JUST THE NAME AND DATES. I BELIEVE PEOPLE ARE CURIOUS OF THE SHAPE AND LAYOUT OF THE DECEASED HEADSTONE TO AND PHOTO THE REAR OF THE NEWER ONES AS IT WILL BE A SOURCE FOR MORE REQUESTS WITH MORE FAMILY GENEALOGY INSCRIBED ON MANY NOW .

RE: Samuel and Emily Blake
Most of the early information I have was from Marie Gouber Ward. She was descended from Emma Rosinia Blake Churchill. (Emma and James are also buried in the Manhattan cemetery). Marie had only a very early pc and did all of her genealogy through documents that she had ordered and interviews with family still alive at the time. She did not have internet access to do research. She died in 2009. I was able to get copies of as much of her volumes of pictures and documents as possible during an afternoon visit with her at her California home. Knowing her, I would be confident of her information being accurate. Since I am not at home, and will not be for several weeks, I am not able to check the copies from her that I may have. Most of the pictures of the Blakes from that era, I got from her. I have not been able to find any of my gr grandfather, Frank Nelson Blake. Anyone in particular you are looking for?

RE: Samuel and Emily Blake
Samuel's father was Gideon Blake. b. Feb 14, 1793, Thornton, Grafton Co., NH. He died after 1871 in Wisc.

Samuel's mother was Johanna Sanborn. b.Feb 2, 1794, Kingston, NH. She died after 1870 in Rumney Co., NH.

Emily's father was Stevens Willey b. May 1, 1793, Ellsworth, Grafton Co., NH. d. Feb 28, 1868, Ellsworth , NH.

Emily's mother was Betsy Avery. b. June 19, 1794. d. Nov 12, 1884 in Plymouth, NH.

This information was given to my by Marie Ward of Rancho Cordova, CA. She has since passed. She had amazing Blake history. Wish I could have had more time to spend with her.

RE: Blake Family
I am sorry I can't help you Jerry. None of these names are in my Blake family. My Blake family originated in England, immigrated to NH, USA late 1630s, then moved to Ontario, Canada in 1790s. They lived in Frontenac County for many generations. My branch moved to Innisfail, Alberta in 1905.

RE: Robert Bartlett
I don't have any problems with my photos being placed on other memorials or used else where. According to CADI Letha was born in West Virginia and her full DoD is 06/20/1954. Her plot info will be the same as Robert's.

RE: Legg Cemetery
Jerry,
Sorry for the wrong picture...
that Tery Legg was her Daughter. I have a hard time
Reading that type of head stone. That was the better of the two pictures that I took that day. I will place them both on her daughters website and you can let me know which to delete.

I am at a dead end. I contacted 2 funeral homes one town over and there is no information there. I think if she was buried using the local funeral home, the records are lost. It has been closed. The woman didn't seem to be willing to help and hurried me off the phone.

I called the Funeral home however, they have been out of business for 10 years. How embarrassing. I believe they would have given us more answers. I will keep trying for you.
