RE: Lawrence Moore
My husband is 1st cousin 1x removed of Leonard Franklin Moore (1901 - 1981)
Leonard Alexander Moore (1879 - 1949)
James Alexander Moore (1855 - 1928)
Elbert Moore (1890 - 1964)
Heber Moore (1921 - 1984) (my husband's father)
His 3rd great grandfather is William Moore 1793-1866, married to Clarissa Buckner 1795-1848. This is where we hit a dead end. Most of the records were destsroyed in the Tennessee cout house fires.
We keep trying, but not luck finding records back then.

William Wesley Givens, Sr.
Dear Ms. Luster
I have been trying to find out more about my husbands side of the family. I have been able to go back as far a "Mary Givens" who married to "John S. Watkins, Sr." That her father was "William Westley Givens, Sr." I am now at a brick wall, when I saw your comments came up on a search I did for a Bacon Rhine. Who is the only name I have found as wife to William Westley Givens, can you give any light to this matter?
You can contact through find a grave, my membership number is: 49032729 and I have a picture of my husband on the page, we go by the name of "PAS".
Thank you and God bless you

RE: Lynn Strevel
A correction needs to be made on this.

I have it that they were married 02 December 1965 in California.

They were divorced 31 January 1979 in California.

Sorry if I sent you the wrong information!

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for doing this.

I added photos to Hershel D Wilson and his wife Rev Beulah Wilson today # 151272736. I knew Sis Beulah many years ago and went to school with her son Dennis 'Joe Dean' Wilson. I looked for a grave stone for 'Joe Dean' but did not locate one. His Find a Grave number is 151272831. It did not have a birth date for him. I guesstimated it as 1948. Are you related in some way? That's ok. I knew what you meant. Thank you! I'll track her down and ask.

RE: Reatha Harless Spencer
Thanks! I'll ask her. She is my dad's cousin.

It's a shame these pictures don't have names. I've been trying to attach names to pictures when I can.

RE: Photo for Jim Harless Relatives
You posted a picture of my great grandmother Reatha Harless Spencer on her memorial. I was curious if you also had pictures of her sisters. Dora Harless Spencer Satterfield and Mary Linn "Lennie" Harless Elam are both buried in the same cemetery as Reatha. I'm not positive, but I also believe there may have been a fourth sister named "Mattie". I don't have the information researched on her. I suspect she is the "Mattie Cannaday" buried in the Hagarman Cemetery, Chavas County, New Mexico.

James T. Harless Photo
I think we may have identified three of the people in the group photo for James T. Harless family. The man in the back row on the right side with the dark suit and handle bar mustache appears to be Henry Harve Harless. The lady next to him on the left with the vertical stripe shirt appears to be his wife, Sarah Carter Harless. You can compare this to the picture on his memorial at

My aunts believe that the 7th person from the right in the back row wearing a cap??? is my great grandmother, Reatha Harless Spencer, daughter of James and Sarah Harless.

RE: Photo for Jim Harless Relatives
Thank you for the photo! I don't believe I had seen that one previously. It must have been taken around 1914 since Eddie was born in July 2013.

Thanks for the other family photo also. I'll keep trying to figure it out. Reatha has to be one of those women.

Photo for Jim Harless Relatives
There is a family photo labeled Uncle Jim Harless's folks in the memorial for James Taylor Harless (# 13152081) buried in Brock Cemetery, Johnson County, Arkansas. I'm assuming The gentleman on the back row is Henry Harve Harless because it looks like the picture of him in his memorial (# 13152050). Do you have names of the other individuals? I'm assuming my great grandmother, Reatha Harless Spencer is one of the ladies in the picture. I can't tell which one. Of course, I'm curious about the other family members also. Thanks!

RE: Darrell Todd - Memorial # 88991900
You are very welcome. Every time I visit Oakdale, I walk through this cemetery looking for Veteran grave markers. It's my privilege to sponsor a soldier who was awarded a Purple Heart. Darrell is one of "my" Veterans now and I will pay homage to him every Memorial and Veterans Day. Thank you for your kind thought. ~ Nancy

Joseph Willis Howard
Joseph is buried next to his parents, Willis & Elnora. I made a memorial for him, posted his headstone photo & other information, & linked him to his parents. May I transfer his memorial to you?
I'm hoping to get better photos of all their stones on my next trip to the cemetery, not with all the shadows obscuring them.

Hi Janie,
I have not found a picture of Tom, but I found a post that you had back in 2000 on Ancestry message board. I saw that listed the names Tompkins and Towler and I found that they are listed in my papers that I inherited this year after the death of my uncle. I also found the graves of Eli Baptist Holman and several of the Towlers all in Mano Cemetery in Barry county Missouri. I will keep digging into my records.
Have a great week ,
