Regarding memorial #29045368, John Ray Dunlap of IL, I don't believe that this man is a son of John Dunlap and Elizabeth Ellison of PA.
They had no sons live to adulthood. John of PA died a very rich man and doubt his son would become an IL farmer. I know you didn't create this memorial.

Hinrch Buss
My information was taken from "The Buss Family History, Gerd Berens Hinrichs Buss of Ostfriesland His ancestors and Descendants 1687-2001. by Deborah L. Baum, 2001 Walsworth Publishing Company, Marceline, Missouri.Pages 1-10 include a picture of the ship and all of the info you are looking for.
Carol Rossel,
I grew up in Golden, Illinois and my relatives came to the U.S. in 1859. My father was Clarence Leenerts and my mother was Lillian Louise Maxine Leenerts (Aden) both buried in the Golden Memorial Cemetery, Golden, Illinois, Adams County, Illinois. Hinrich Buss was buried in what was known as the rural "South Prairie" cemetery outside of Golden.

Elizabeth Masters
Per your request... Yes, Elizabeth's headstone is adjacent to Adolph Masters' large stone, immediately to the left of his as you look at them. Immediately to the left of her headstone is the headstone of Minnie Potter. Hope this helps.

I do understand. Fortunately (?), I get to visit my husband every time I go there to take photos.

You're welcome. I'm just sorry it wasn't a better photo. I tried from several angles, but the inscription was so faded. I may keep it on my list and try again on a cloudy, darker day when there isn't so much reflection

RE: Thanks!
Here is a different scenario:
Willard and Helen lived in Denver in 1940. They moved to Montana where he had a job as postmaster in 1946. Helen's brother Frank Cyr may have helped Willard to get a job.
Sallie aka Floretta Gertrude and James Dunlap lived in S Dakota in 1940. So between 1940 and 1950 Willard and Helen and Sallie and James got divorces. So now the question is how the heck did Sallie and Willard end up in Raton, NM?? LOL.
sounds like a puzzle and I wish you luck. On a side note it is interesting that on the Social Security Death Index Sallie is listed as Gertrude Shinn and I am fairly certain I checked for Willard at Crown Hill but will do so again to be certain. I do know there isn't a grave marker for him next to Sallie.

RE: Thanks!
You are welcome for the photo. The name Floretta Gertrude was in the cemetery records along with "Sally" but not sure how she got from Floretta to Sally.
I saw your note attached to your photo request and I am pretty sure I asked about Willard. I don't think he is buried at Crown Hill. I did see on Ancestry a Willard R Shinn. He died in 1997 in Montana. Could this be the same person?
I will check my notes for Willard and let you know if I find anything different.

RE: Prussia vs Prusia
Thank you. I have added the information to her memorial. I don't have management of her husband's memorial so you may want to share the information with the manager. The spelling will remain Prussia on the memorial as I believe that is how it will be spelled on the marker.

Best wishes
High Plains :)

Elmer Prusia son
The Elmer Prusia you cite is the grandson from what I see. I'll verify and get back to you. May not have internet at next location.

Elmer Prusia
If you create a memorial for Elmer, son of the two I posted, I will upload a photo when I get back in range for my cell data coverage. I also have photo of family marker (surname) to put up for all three. I did not locate other relatives for you as time was too short and weather was too cold and windy. They were not buried in the immediate vicinity of these three. ( I can try in about a year. This is a small cemetery.) I guess the weather was typical of many cemetery visits to obtain photos! Back to you as soon as I can.

RE: Thanks!
I am trying to figure out how. I have an image right side up of the spouse. Maybe I can delete the one posted and use the other. Working from my smart phone so I am unsure of the tech procedures.I will consult others and read the FAQs on Find-a-Grave. Back to you as soon as I return to cell data range. MomSmith4
