RE: Burials in Miltonville
Tom, you are very welcome. There may be more pictures to come on my return visits. I am finding most of the headstones there have survived. I grew frustrated at Greenwood, not turning up much there. I will work on the surrounding areas. I hope to get more for you soon. Amy

RE: Distant
You did good detecting work. Yes, Dorothy/Dottie was my sister. I love all the Withrow clan. Not many of them left now though. Kimberly Dean Withrow is also buried in the Somerville Cemetery. He is their son and died a young man a few years ago. If I can help you in any way I will be happy to do so when weather permits. I notice you have requests for photos of some in Somerville Cemetery. Today it is 30 degree and will be all week. Maybe as soon as it warms a bit I can look for some for you.

RE: Laura (Hamilton) Schubert in Greenwood
Thank you, I did not know that. Yes it does not seem like the best solution but I will abide by that. So for your older requests in Greenwood that have already been reported on, do you want me to keep them there or remove them from the list? It seems those contributors need to update the -no marker-, then remove them, then the list won't be so long ?! How should I proceed? I will contact each contributor if I have to. Amy

RE: Laura (Hamilton) Schubert in Greenwood
The family plot has small unreadable white markers. Christian and Elizabeth have headstones, the monument was barely readable, but they are all buried in that same plot. I will re-check the area, I am trying to fulfill all the Greenwood photo request, so you will be getting messages from me as I work them.

Section A is a very old section with damaged markers/weathered and hard to read stones, as well as the some of the other areas. Yesterday when I was there, the wind blew down a huge part of a dead tree, in an older section. I wish they would maintenance the cemetery better, more huge trees look like they need trimmed before more damage occurs.

The cemetery has been helpful though, giving me the plot-numbered section maps so I can pinpoint the locations of the older sections. For your other requests, I will photograph everyone in that section and will post a broad view pictures if they do not have individual markers. This is the only way I can think of to resolve the very old requests that will never have a marker found. Thank you very much and I will use my best efforts your other requests. Regards, Amy

You took what i said completely out of context.
I told you about the extra stegmaiers that are in your family tree, not mine. You can add them since they are related.im not the type who adds every grave i see

Blanchard VanHorn Dick
Blanchard V. Dick #26172331 Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County, Pa. You have Blanchard Dick and Mary Elizabeth Amon's marriage in Henderson, Huntingdon, Co., Pa.? Their pastor's obituary stated he was the pastor at Hendersonville and Pardoe in Mercer County, and Clintonville, Venango Co. Huntingdon County is quite a distance from Mercer Co. They were married in Hendersonville,Mercer Co., Pa. by the Rev. J.J. Brown, pastor there 6 years. Rev. Brown died in 1925.

Hi,
The information that I used for Mary's parents came from her Death Certificate, which I have added to the memorial. I am not related to her, but if you are and would like her memorial transferred to you, let me know.
Take care,
Jane

RE: Tom: Read Wallis Myer obit
Yes, the records are from folders in the office. Each person information is on a 3 x 5 card. Most of the older ones just list section, lot & plot number, burial date, not death date or birthdate. Some have personal information on them. For instance I have seen, Blind child of Mr. & Mrs -------. Or re moved from another cemetery, or my favorite is. MRS. SMITH WIFE OF JOHN SMITH. These are irritating. Pretty sure the Myer's and Sidener do not have markers, cause they are not listed in any books at the library. Hope this helps, if I can do any more on my end, let me know.

Tom: Read Wallis Myer obit
Me again. C.C Sidener and the "Belle" buried with him died with the name Belle Collins which is listed in Wallis Myer's obit as a cousin. She died in the 60's. The information is all in a folder on 3 x 5 cards. One card has T.N. Myers name and in different handwriting in the corner, someone has added Todd's name. Looks like Belle was T.N. Myer's niece. Married a few times. Let me know if you need me to go back out to Oak Hill and blow some more dust off of those folders. KIM

TN Myer Oak Hill
Here is some information for you per Oak Hill records, Theophilus Myers purchased 14 plots, in section 8 Lot 148 / in 1878 where 6 are still empty. NO INFANTS LISTED BURIED IN ANY OF THEM
Plots 11 Wally, 12 Nettie, 13 June, and 14 Paul. T. N. and Sarah 1 & 2, the other two buried in the 14 plot purchase is C.C. Sidener & Belle whom I think remarried, she had a son named Todd Binford listed on the card in the original records at Oak Hill. I think C.C may be Charles and records indicate he died 1888? Does this sound right, It is your family, I'm just sending you what I found.
I am going to go out and look, but if memory serves me, T.N and Sarah are the only one that has a stone. Belle Collins June 1963 appears to be in the plot by C.C Sidener.
