You are welcome. The headstone is in good shape for its age. Well-cared for cemetery, also.

You said, "Ken, Thanks so much for the info. I do not have much experience with Canadian and French genealogy so the language is a hindrance. What does "dite, la Marguerite" mean? -Matt. Added by Matt Saxton on Oct 22, 2015 2:15 PM"

Since that memorial [#146827125] is one of mine, I assume that your message was (indeed) intended for me - but my name is, Robert ;-)

Reply: "dit / dite" (followed by a name or expression), means... "known as". So, in this case: "known as 'la marguertite' (a "marguerite" is a "daisy"). Hence, "known as Daisy".

P.S. I was married to a French gal for 27-yrs; have been using the language for 51-yrs; 3 of my 4 kids are 1/2-French; all 6 of my grand-children are French!

re: Marie Gertrude Moral-Joyal. There is indeed a lack of consensus on the topic of - WHO - were her parents. I have modified the entry to reflect the latest evidence that has been made available to me...

P.S. As an aside - I speak/read/write fluent French; was married to a gal born in Morocco to French parents for 27-27 years; 3 of my 4 kids are 1/2 French; their 6 children (my grand-kiddos) are French by nationality; I've lived in that country (on my own time and dime) across 17-years of my adult life (as of today, I've 55 years of genealogy under the belt - with a master database of 250,000 names).

RE: Schrader HS
Matt.. Do you have info from Ancestry.Com for her? I see a Christian and Catherine Schrader that lived in the area showing up on a search.

I can send it over to you if you're interested.

Hi Matt... I added a new picture to the page, but it isn't any better as far as being able to transcribe.

Here is what they have at the website for the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery:

Sorry it isn't much help.

Matt.. It's close by so I will have to stop back. I just have the piece of paper I wrote on, I didn't have my camera with me. Give me a couple days and I'll get an answer for you.

Would appreciate if you could contact me directly regarding the request for links to his parents. A review of the info at the Bushnell Cemetery has a duplicates and I have declined the edit and linked to the correct one. It is a bit complicated as some of the family member photo's are attached to the incorrect memorials and I have put in corrections with the persons that are maintaining the memorials.

I went to the Centenary Cemetery this morning and found many Bakers but not the ones that you are looking for. However, it was 32 degrees with a wind chill of 17 so I did not stay that long. I'll upload the pictures that I took so you will have an idea of what the cemetery looks like. And I'll try again on a warmer day when I can study each marker more.

I don't know where you are located but here in Sodus it is supposed to snow this weekend--again. We'll contact the person who has the records for the Sodus Rural Cemetery to see where the Tetor's graves are located.

Hi Matt,
I am very new to Findagrave, only today realizing that there are photo requests! I live only about a mile from the Centenary Cemetery so on the way home from work today I drove by to see if we needed to bring tools to get to the headstones of Debora and Jonathan. What I found is a very neat and well-kept cemetery! Right out towards the road was another grave marker with the name Baker on it. Would you like pictures of any other Bakers that we can find in the very small cemetery? If there are 50 graves I'd be surprised. Please let me know. I'd rather you e-mail me at awebste3@rochester.rr.com.
