Thank you for the 2 Find A Grave messages regarding Thomas...I came to your page for the family info as you suggested...I found this headstone quite by accident...I took the pic and created the memorial hoping it might help someone with their genealogy research...Evidently, it worked...Is Thomas a family relative of yours?..Would you like me to copy and paste some of your info into the memorial?..Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

Elizabeth Wilford 121406408
divorced from Emil Weuthrick.
I explained in the first rejection where you wanted to link them - that I do not link divorced couples.

If you wish, I will gladly transfer to you, and you can make whatever changes you want.
Just let me know.

RE: Mary Thompson
I have looked back over my John W. Thompson and Mary Harp Thompson records. I posted some information to Mary's bio you might like to read. They probably married in Baldwin County, Georgia, but the marriage was never recorded.

Please remove your Edit to Mary's middle name in your Pending Edits. I do not like to make Declines as they cannot be removed, but Pending Edits can. You can always make a new Edit if new documentation can be found.

Appreciate your time and effort on your contributions on Find A Grave.

RE: Mary Thompson
Hi Mike Adduddell,

Thank you for replies. Did the IGI Index have sources for their information?

There was a John W. Thompson married to a Malvina A. Harp or Tharp in Upson County, Georgia on June 10,1836 married by C. A. Harp, M.G.. They lived in Muscogee County, Georgia in the 1850 Census on 22nd day of August 1850. Think they moved on over to Alabama. Upson and Muscogee Counties are next to either other and close to the Alabama state line. I have copies of both of those documents.

Without definite documentation, I decline to make the addition to the memorial. If you can furnish me with a document, I will reconsider.

Constant Butler, #145463393
Mike,

I got your edit request to connect Constant with his wife Jewell, #7991308. However, I just found out that my memorial is a duplicate so I'm going to delete it. His correct memorial is #7991307. I've sent a request to have the creator of his memorial correct the first name to Constant Boone Butler instead of G. Boone Butler. I've also requested to have them connected.

Thanks,

Tim

RE: joseph H Garner vs. Joseph Alexander Garner
Well Mike, I'm sorry but my book on the Guilford Garner family of Arkansas has been out of print for quite a few years. Joseph H Garner was Guilford's son. I am not really sure how your family fits in. The book is called Arkansas Travelers II. You might find it in a library, depending on where you live. Maybe it is a different Joseph Garner.

RE: joseph H Garner vs. Joseph Alexander Garner
Hi Mike, you are very generous to offer me your Gedcom files but since my husband's death two years ago and my aging process, I've basically stopped researching Garners in any detail. I would however like to correct Joseph is you have some evidence about the Alexander vs H. problem. I'm just getting too old and I published the Garner book a number of years ago and am working on two about my family now so I don't want to get sidetracked at this late age! You look to be much younger than I am!!! Please let me know when you have time. Hallie

RE: joseph H Garner vs. Joseph Alexander Garner
Well I have never seen a record that shows that but that doesn't mean something doesn't exist. The only times I've seen a record with an initial it has been an H. Can you give me a link to where they have that so I can evaluate it better?

BTW, tell me where you fit in if you would...I'd love to know.

RE: Frank & Lovina Holmes
That's great Mike! I can transfer Frank and Lovina over to you if you'd like or just submit the edits at the memorials and I can approve them. Leaving tomorrow for a short vacation, so may not get to it until we get back if I don't do it today/tomorrow. Glad I could help :)

RE: Frank & Lovina Holmes
Thanks Mike! I remember the markers are very old, I think they were one of the earlier burials in the cemetery. Do you know why Frank was buried in Riverside, but dies in Fremont County? Did they live in Washington County or Fremont County?

There are a couple of searchable resources:
http://iagenweb.org/washington/
http://iagenweb.org/washington/wm1875.htm
(lists Franks 3rd marriage to Mattie Boyd in 1875)
http://genealogytrails.com/iowa/washington/

Two books that often have mentions of residents from that time period (search function not always accurate):

Hi Mike,

Would you like me to transfer his memorial to you so you can make the corrections and updates? I am not related to this family and am not doing any genealogy work on here at this time.

I see that you reside in SLC UT. No disrespect intended but are you LDS?

My email address is: bschlaak2003@yahoo.com.

Yes, I hope that you can find the "right Wright" connection that will link my Wright's with your Wright's, right?
Little humor there.

Jeffers marrying into Wright Families
I have three family members of the Jeffers Family (in N.Y.) that married into the Wright Family.
Here goes:
William Jeffers (1839-1871)married Lovancia Wright (Parents Aaron & Sarah Mead Wright), marr. 1860. Lovancia (1846-1882) - both are buried in Sunderlinville Cem., Sunderlinville, Potter Co., PA.
2. Ulysses Peter Jeffers (1840-1922) married Charlotte Eleanor Wright (1834-1908) in 1862 in Wellsville, NY.
3. Julia Ann Jeffers (1846-1864) married Daniel S. Wright (1839-1910).
All three Wright's had same parents (Aaron & Sarah Mead Wright).

Are these Wright's related to YOU?
Sincerely,
William Schlaak,
Appleton, WI
