|Nancy Poppin Umland||Maag|
Janice, I was looking for another "Maag" and found that 89676800 is a dupe of yours. Your memorial was created in 2012 and the other in 2014. Thought you'd like to know.

I know, it's a shame we can't and actually quite silly now as from what I understand the reason they originally didn't want people to was because they wanted to compile and publish books to generate income on the local levels but that's not really feasible these days.
Anyway, I wasn't sure if you'd found beneficial information there so thought I'd pass it along. At least it has plot #'s people can include with photo requests. I may get up that way this summer but it's a bit of a drive for me so time will tell.

I noticed your photo request note regarding Katherine and Hans Rasmussen and thought you'd be interested to know according to Iowa Gravestone Project they do share a marker.
Hans P G Rasmussen is actually listed twice, one of which transcribed the inscription on the marker.
Just thought I'd pass it along.
Happy Ancestor Hunting!

I transferred the pictures for Earl to the other memorial. It's sad we had to go through this since it would have been a whole lot easier if she would have just deleted the incorrect memorial!

I meant I hoped you would remove the second mem for Charles Senior, and NOT because the first one in place was mine. But, as I say, I fulfilled your photo request for Chas Junior with a photo for Chas Senior, which would mean that you'd have to resubmit a request for the son again - as they say, My Bad, my apologies, please.

There was already an Earl Reeves memorial for this chap when you "added" a memorial for him -- just in case you hadn't noticed. No, it's not an addition of mine.

Oopsie, I just noticed that my years are a bit "off" on this one and I find that there is already a memorial for the gent I just added, with photo included. I'll remove my extraneous photo. You may have to add your request in again. Sorry for MY confusion.

I got the info on Elain from the Sowokinos Family tree on ancestry family ...I believe that's yours?
I think you should add Kasimir to St Francis and make the links...
In BIO, pls put:
UNMARKED GRAVE (presumed burial location - will do further research)
I linked Anna and Jessie to Marcella
Hopefully, I can get the original records for St Francis and find many "missing" folks!!

I am a Sherman Co. genealogist, specializing in cemeteries. I have photographed every cemetery in the county. I was loaned notebooks full of obits, marriages, birth, etc and have spent the last 7 months adding them to findagrave. In the process, I have added, maybe, 50 new memorials, none of which have stones. I am also getting the original records of burials from the various cemeteries...so, eventually, the goal is to have some sort of plaque at each cemetery with a list of unmarked graves, or individual markers made, if possible, placed in the actual burial site. HUGE project!!!
If you need help with your family, just let me know, and maybe I can help....

Unfortunately the newspapers are not on line...on microfilm/fiche at Loup City library...I have notebooks full of copies of parts of pages that were loaned to me..I have been transcribing them...Is there someone in particular that you're looking for?? I've pretty much finished everything I have here, up to 1930 - I still have the '30s to do... k

I'm sorry I don't think that's him. It was near Mary & Frank but, looking closer I think it is Thomas Ahrens. I will look some more the I will delete this photo.

My mother knew Bert Meyer's second wife. She called her Ann Rasmussen. I will e-mail my aunt who has lived in International Falls for about 60 years. She probably can tell me more about her.
I will let you know when I get a response from her.

You're correct when you say WHAT A MESS!!!!!! On IAGENWEB the two cemeteries are separated with clear photos. I don't know who's fault it is. When I first photographed St. John's in St. Donatus I added names to the St. Johns with the correct entrance photo. This summer I contacted Tom Helling the creator of St. John's in Bellevue, and noticed immediately the two were as one, and informing him he had combined all of his names with the St. Donatus Cemetery. He said he was going to try and straighten it out but has made no attempt so far. This winter, when I have more time on my hands, I will contact him and see what can be done. Cheryl

Leona was in lot 303. I had another person in lot 313. 10 spaces either way there was no stone.

I do have a note that Wellington Ingle was buried in Crescent Cemetery. If you do get to that cemetery I would appreciate any info you can give me. Thank-you.

The obit I posted was July 6, 1964 Omaha World-Herald. I might get down to Graceland Park late next week, if I do I'll try to find his marker.
