Harmen Visscher (1780-1815)
Hi Tim,
Please correct the name and birthdate on memorial 81442598. His dates are found in the Caughnawaga Ref. Ch. records.
He was Harmen Visscher, son of Frederick Harmen Visscher & Gesina, born 4 Apr 1780, baptized 26 April 1780 (as Fisher; some copies say bapt. 23 April). Harmen married Deborah Conyne in May 1811, no day recorded.
He is called Harmen/Herman Visscher/Fisher in other documents including his probate file and his father's will. Harmen is incorrectly called Frederick Herman in Cuyler Reynolds' book, the source of the error.
Harmen inherited the Danascara mansion from his father, and it eventually passed to his daughter Gezina Catherine, the wife of Dr. Jesse DeGraff.
Thanks, JimH

Nicholas Weaver Old Lansingburgh Cemetery
Thank you so very much for your wonderful photograph of #44869547 Nicholas Weaver's gravestone in the Old Lansingburgh Cemetery, Troy, Renssalaer, NY! Appreciate your efforts! Are you also a descendant of the Weaver family of Lansingburgh?
I have sent SAC messages to Dann, but he appears to be "inactive"? Perhaps you know how to contact him another way? I would like to add information and get the Weaver family properly linked. Thanks again! Happy New Year!

RE: connecting Hegemans
The way to send information to the person that manages that other memorial is to use the "edit" tab on the upper right corner of the memorial. That is the best way to convey information because it sends a direct link to the person managing the memorial. It avoids the confusion we have had!!

Hope this helps, I have updated some of the memorials but I am still looking to sort out the rest.

RE: connecting Hegemans
I'm trying to sort through this. Are you trying to say that Susanna Mather, 52365961, is the daughter of Maria Hegeman and Adrian Onderdonk, but the person who manages her memorial will not respond to requests to link them?

RE: connecting Hegemans
Also "their son is Adrian # 43791124". He is not the son of Joseph and Sarah Hegeman. He is the son of Andries Onderdonck (1686-1758) and Gertrude (1688-1731).

It looks like it might be nice tomorrow but I am actually in Brooklyn NY on a jobsite. I do hope to get back over there sometime this summer to get more info I missed or miss typed on the memorials.

Well, well look who it is... Just wanted to say thank you so incredibly much for all of your hard work back in the New Mt Ida Cemetery today. I made memorials for the the family members on the two stones your camp put up.

RE: Old Lansingburg Cemetery, Renneslaer, NY
I have no problem adding correcting or changing anything to get the info correct. Was contacted last April by someone from the historical society about the Old Village Cemetery in Lansingburg I think it was Gordon Brown. I have been trying to get some time to get back over there to meet up with him but work hasn't taken me that way recently. Just send me the corrections you find and I will do them as soon as I can.

A lot of the info was copied from stones when we were in the area. Some info came from other members who use the site and suggested correct dates. If someone sends me a correction and say they are a relative I add the info. I can be reaches through the site by clicking on the memorial and click the edit button and send a correction suggestion. If you want to email me direct you can do that also. Let me know.
