RE: Laura Haines - Elmwood Cem
Hi Bruce,
We may have spoke in the past. I was just trying to read Abram Haines headstone. Trying to make out, how old he was, when he died.
I believe him to be my Grt Grt. Grt Grandfather.
I have seen their names on a marriage certificate, of their son, but, the spelling of Betsey Hair, is spelt Hare. I know, that things were not always written down or translated correctly.
Thanks for your help as always, Laura

Theresa Cort
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for directing me to the Find A Grave memorial for Theresa; I had noted on the page for her widower, Benjamin Cort, that the family knew he had been married, that his wife served in the war, and had died young--but we knew little else. This answers so many questions for us and the newspaper clipping shown here--I cannot describe effectively how seeing this made me feel.

It also is fitting that this news for our family comes on the eve of Independence Day, given Theresa and Benny's military service--and the day also being the birthday of Benny's aunt, my grandmother--many, many years ago.

This has helped us come full circle and I very much appreciate your assistance.

Regards and a happy and healthy Fourth!
