Find A Grave Memorial# 113984398

If you call Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum at 708- 453-0273 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.
Good Luck.

You're welcome, I'm glad I could help!
Also, close by to Arthur and Amelia, was a marker for Kathrine Lynn Berkheim, born in 1948. There is no death date on the stone, so I assume she is still among us. However, she shares a grave marker with Joe Lyn Olson (#74740969). Don't know the connection, but thought you might be interested.

RE: Katherine Milschewski
Just curious if you asked Elmwood Cemetery to check under the name Berkheim. Perhaps she is buried next to her first husband and the plot is under that name.

Elmwood is still all paper based, so a lot of details get missed when they check the 100+ year old records of deaths. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. Ace

Sadie Noone
I have a photocopy of the burial record from Cathedral Cemetery for this plot. It says: Noone, Patrick [no dates], Noone, Catherine Oct 23 1916, Noone, Miss Sadie Aug 8 1969, Noone, Joseph Nov 13 1916. So I think this Sadie never married.

Hi! The phone number that I provided should help you get the information I need to get a photo for you. This will save you a trip to the cemetery. Ace

Hi! Regarding your photo request, can you please contact the cemetery and obtain the Section, Lot, and Grave Number information, and then post it to your request? Please also ask if there is a grave marker and add that information to your photo request and/or memorial. The Find A Grave FAQs state the photo requestor is responsible to provide this information.

Elmwood Cemetery: (708) 453-0273

This cemetery provides extremely limited assistance to photo volunteers with finding a grave's location. Last year I was able to fulfill almost 200 photo requests at Elmwood through this process. Because the lots in this cemetery are poorly marked, almost no one else ever photographs here. I have only had success here because I have spent literally weeks at a time to learn the intricacies of the layout of this cemetery.

There is no named "Gypsy" section in the cemetery. With over 40,000 burials at Elmwood, someone could spend hours just looking through one section of the cemetery without the actual burial plot (Section # and Lot #).

Thank you for helping me to help you.

Find A Grave Memorial# 64946779
Hi Jim, I am a descendant of William Wadkins (sometimes spelled Watkins) from Find A Grave Memorial# 100837977. I have a strong hunch that my William's father - Stephen Wadkins/Watkins - was related somehow to Jonathan and Clarissa Clary Allen Watkins. I noticed that some of their children lived to Morgan County, Indiana, around the same time that Stephen would have lived there. Another reason for the hunch - I found many of the same surnames from my family in Mason County, Kentucky, mentioned along with Jonathan & Clary's family in historical books. My William (on the censuses) listed his father born in Indiana & sometimes in Ohio.

I am sorry to you inform you that Stephen Wadkins is of no relation to Jonathan and Clarissa Clary Allen Watkins. I have done extensive research into this line along with DNA testing and a Stephen dose not appear into this lineage. Though not all of their children are listed on their memorial I do know who they were and thier complete lineage.

There were Sevearal Watkins families that lived in an around Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio that were not related to each other. Watkins/Wadkins is a common Welsch name.

if you have any further questions pls do not hesitate to email me

Warmest Regards
Jim Watkins

You can look at their individual info cards at Some of them give their parents names and the name of the lot owner. You can figure out how they are all related from there!

Karen, the name is very faint. You can tell it's the right stone by the person next to him. The age was readable and with the death date the birth was caculated. The posted pic is in better shape than the stone. If I can help further let me know.
