Tom M.
Salmon family
Dear Salmon family historian:

I'm Tom Maas, an active member of the Wyoming Historical Commission. Archibald Salmon was an early settler in our township and I live near the old homestead. I'd like to correspond with you to discuss Archibald's family ties in this area. I live on Ivanrest Avenue in an old farmhouse, so it's likely that the original owners of my house knew the Salmon family.

Please contact me at:

You are very welcome. I went ahead and uploaded the picture of Hulda's grave to your memorial for her.

Eric Carlson
Did Eric have a wife named Hulda Carlson Wold (1873-1949)? Her headstone was next to Eric's, so I took a picture of it as well. I'll go ahead create a memorial for her (if I don't find one already) and upload the picture.

RE: William J and Catherine Walsh
I not only did a visual inspection of the burial location but I also checked with the office at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery and they said their records reflect no grave markers. A few feet away from their unmarked burials are three additional Walsh(s).
Eleanor H. Walsh 1907-1983
Maurice J. Walsh 1907-1973
Kevin M. Walsh 1967-1986
The above three have markers but I am unsure if they are related to the other Walsh(s).

If I can assist you any further, please let me know.

Mary Fern (Salmon) Falen
HI, Scott....I want to thank you for adding the nice portrait of Mrs. Falen to her memorial. She was my 2nd grade teacher in Stafford, way back when! HA!....
I did some checking and found the memorials of her parents, so I got Fern linked to them as well as linking her two baby brothers. I asked Judy Mayfield to link Raymond Salmon to Martin & Blanche as well..That leaves only Kenneth Salmon who is either still living, or buried somewhere in Colorado....I'll let you investigate that...

Mt Carmel-Anthony Fahey
By the time I got to Mt Carmel today the light was way behind the Fahey monument. Although I took a picture I want to go get one in the morning light. Here's the rundown though. There are two Fahey monuments right next to each other. The first has the following people:
Anthony J Fahey July 10, 1865-Nov 5, 1915
Mary Fahey Aug 12, 1870-Sept 20, 1910
Margaret Gibbons 1893-1930
Richard 1907-1957
Eleanor 1909-1972
The second stone has:
John J Fahey 1868-1926
Annie Moore Fahey 1887-1981
Eugene M Fahey 1910-1982
Rev John J Fahey 1911-1995
Susan Hogan Fahey 1909-1949
Julie Fahey 1906-1986
James Fahey 1877-1923
Patrick Moore 1891-1916
Of the above John J, Annie, and Eugene already have memorial pages. Fr John J has a page and a picture of the second monument on that page. If you place the others and create memorial pages let me know and I'll post the pictures to them. I should have a new picture of the Fahey monument within a week....Mary

RE: Ellen Fahey
I looked at Alan Gardiners book of Cemetery stone inscriptions--- there wasn't a stone in 1981 according to his book either. Sorry wish I could find one for you.

The only Fahey stone in the cemetery is James which is the plot just south of her plot.

There is also a grave there with a small stone for Annie. I didn't seem to remember your memtioning her at all. Maybe she is not related?

RE: Carl Pier
I was having poor luck finding any of the names I actually went to find and when I found Carl, I hadn't counted on the stone needing to be scrubbed a bit. I forgot my brush in the car; it was worth the walk back to know that someone appreciated the effort. A little abrading goes a long way, so it's worth it to use something about as firm as a tooth brush, and to be gentle.

I'm glad it helped with your search, Scott.
