If you could please contact me, I'd like to cross reference check a few things with you.

RE: Can you help me?
Hello James:

I know it's been a long time but I'm back on the family tree trail again.

I know a lot of my relatives are buried in Resthaven Cemetary and I'm seeing articles about a proposed relocation of the cemetery to make room for some expansion of O'Hare. Do you know if this happened?

Also, my email has changed, so if you could send any pics of the Gathman(n) family or grave sites to me at professionalbs@gmail.com that would be great!

Cemetery Inscription Book

Row 12

Amerine, Boy 1 Jul 1907
Girl 1 Jul 1907

Amerine, Boy 27 Aug 1898

Amerine, Twin Girls 6 Feb 1896 - 8 Feb 1896

Amerine, Baby Girl 4 Dec 1894

Amerine, Infant May 1885

Amerine, Baby Girl 14 Apr 1888

Amerine, Charles 7 Apr 1885 1/4/23

Amerine, Andrew 30 Dec 1885 0/7/0

Amerine, Ray 6 Jul 1887 1/0/8

Amerine, Roy 20 Apr 1888 1/10/0

That is twelve children that preceded their mother in death. Then Mary Ruffing that lived to adulthood but died before her mother, Phoebe. Thirteen
Then Adam, James, Eva and Rose outlived their mother. Seventeen

I found a book entitled Marriage License & Records of Probate Court Wyandot County, Ohio (1868-1886)
George and Phoebe are listed in the book for marrying on 12 Oct 1883. That same date is published in Phoebe's obituary. If Charles, the first child, died 7 Apr 1885 aged 1/4/23, that makes him born on 11/15/1883.(calculated) Phoebe was with child when they married. Something to think about. More search is needed.

Thank you, James! That was a super job, well done! I appreciate your help and all the work that you did to link these children with their parents, George and Phoebe. If you find the other two, I would appreciate a message. I will do the same for you...turn about is fair play.

Blessings

I'm sorry that I typed Charles in the other message instead of George. Time to give the old gray cells a rest.

RE: George and Phoebe Amerine
James,

I found Mary (Amerine) Ruffing, a daughter of George and Phoebe Amerine. Her number is 67684356. I sent some edits to the manager of the page to link her to the family.
I made a page for another girl of Phoebe and Charles Amerine. Her name is Rose (Amerine) Ankney. #175803586 That makes 5 of the children, out of seventeen. I need more time to double check info on some of Amerine(s) in Zion Bloom. I would feel safe to say that Roy and Ray are their sons. Plus the Female Amerine born 15 Sept 1899. But I like some sources before I ask others to link these children to George and Phoebe. If you have info to share feel free to join right in on the search. I will get back to you if I find more info.

Thank you for the message.

RE: Michael Schodtler
Yea I've not been able to find anything on where he is buried. The only info under the spelling "Michael Schodtler" is his sons grave. Ive tried multiple spellings, last name searches with just the birth or death year, as well aas national and international searches in find-a-grave and haven't been able to find anything. Perhaps he was buried in an unmarked grave.

Hi James,

I've transferred this memorial to you as well as Mary's. I assume you wanted both. If not, you can transfer hers back to me. I'm not related so whatever is your preference.

RE: Can you help me?
Mathilda P. Draft is also my great, great grandmother. She was married to my great, great grandfather Heinrich Christian Friedrich Gathmann (Henry). Their son, William H. Gathmann was my great grandfather. (and Rose's brother)

So it looks like our great grandparents were brother and sister.

I know nothing of Mathilda P. Draft other than she is buried in Bensenville, Illinois and I have seen pics of her headstone. I haven't gotten any ancestry.com hints popping up about her either. Wish I knew more.

Can you help me?
Hello there ...

I saw your contribution of:
Find A Grave Memorial# 58840766 for Mathilda P. Draft Gathmann.

There is another member that has her listed as:
Find A Grave Memorial# 9260717
This listing has her husband and all children, etc.

My question is this ... How did you find her maiden name of Draft (Drafts)?

I believe her to be my great great grandmother on my father's side and I have been working extensively on our family tree.

Is there anything you can tell me?

Thank you in advance,

Mary K. Gathman-Kent
