I updated the memorial for Pearl, with the name of her second husband. I'm not certain as to what you want me to do with the info for her son, Harry L. Truesdale, as I don't manage his memorial. ~ Joni

I can understand that, he was my favorite also, I had a page created for him within a hour or two after his passing and they deleted it. I know I was first to create his page but I guess that don't count, my Dad and I loved his music, I would have been honored to have his page but it was deleted by F.A.G. Did you delete yours or did they? No, I've never been to a concert in North Carolina only South Carolina and Mississippi so I don't think we ever met. thanks though,

I grew up in Dothan and my parents are buried in Memory Hill there. Are you still having trouble locating the grave you're interested in there?

Hi, I got the burial information from their death certificates. Paul has since added James Washington Lassiter's obituary to the memorial, which also states burial is in Northam Cemetery. I assume you searched the cemetery on both sides of the street?

I was able to find Mr. James W Lassiter's obituary online & have posted it. It appears to have a few errors in the reporting.
I have visited the Northam Cemetery on a couple of occasions, but have not been able to locate Mr. Lassiters grave marker. Maybe you should re-post your request for a picture for it, as my submission removed that request. Meanwhile, I'll keep looking.
As Coach Valvano said 'Don't give up. Don't ever give up."

I talked to the lady who is in charge of keeping the old section of the cemetery mowed, etc. I asked if she had a chart showing where the people were buried, and she said no. Mr. Northam first gave the land and started the cemetery. Various families marked off their family plots, and then began burying their family there. I have looked for your Lassiter family graves, and cannot find them. This lady also takes up money from families to help pay for the mowing, etc.
