RE: re: Frank H
You should send any edits to edit@findagrave.com and ask them to merge the two memorials (or maybe delete the other one if that person is unresponsive).

RE: EDITS @ Lakewood
Oh, thank you. That makes it so much worthwhile - it's so frustrating when holders don't want to update. You're aces!

Edits et al
I know I've been sending you a ton of stuff lately, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for helping update the memorials at Lakewood Park. If I'm driving you crazy (which could well be the case :)), please let me know. I just feel that everyone deserves to be remembered, and that families belong together. Thanks again for all your help.

Hi, Martha Almira (Merwin) Adams in my 2nd cousin 5x removed, which would make you and I distant cousins. I would love to get in touch and exchange info if you are interested.

Hults
All of your memorials for the Hults family are duplicates. Please remove them as it is confusing. You will find the same memorials under the name Hulse. I am a descendant of this family and maintain the proper memorials. Your attention to this message would be greatly appriciated

Pop on over to my website. It's on my profile. I don't have too much information on your line, past Eliza and Edwards childrens names.

Nice to meet you cousin.

Joseph E. Burkett Peyton married Elizabeth Derry in 1874. She died in 1875. Then he married Ruth E. Webb in 1876. They in turn had my grandfather Floyd Raymond Peyton in 1894 plus 8 or 9 other children.

St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetary, Virginia
I have several family members who are SUPPOSED to be buried in that cemetery.

According to the Thomas Balch Library only one is. Charles Henry Peyton Sr.

You are listed as contributor to Luther Marshall Peyton, who according to Thomas Balch Library is not buried there. He was my grandfathers brother.

There is also Joseph E. Burkett Peyton said to have been buried there. He is my great grandfather.

I noticed all this when I was looking for my great grandmother, wife of Joseph E. Burkett Peyton. Her name is Ruth E. Webb. I cannot find her anywhere. Her death certificate states, as does the death certificate of Joseph E. Burkett, that they would be going to St. Pauls.

I have tried to contact St. Pauls Lutheran Church, through email, but I get no answer. That is why I contacted Thomas Balch, as they hold the church records from the 1800s. They say no peytons are there except Charles Henry.

My question is this....does someone actually go out to the graveyards and see that they are buried there, or do they rely on information others give them.

John M.
Esther Ratekin Ely
You have Esther Ratekin Ely's parents as being James and Effie Ely, of Oklahoma. That is incorrect. The marriage license for Esther and her husband Floyd Ely (24 Nov 1917, Cuyahoga County) gives her parents as Benjamin Ratekin and Belle Hart. I've suggested an edit to correct this. Please remove James and Effie as her parents. Many thanks.

If you could transfer them that would be great.

Thank you so much. My family is very large and will find this very important.

How'd you know?
Hello, I was just google my great-grandparents and what I have found is remarkable and mind blowing. Would you please correct his middle name to reflect Nelson or N.

In addition, please notify the owners of the site that the site is not working properly and creating a freeze. There is an ad notice poping up about "Report this ad" and it does not respond and I think it is the problem. I could not find a link anywhere to contct them myself.

Maude Alford, Middlefield Cemetery
Hello, not sure what your name is. I came to Middlefield cemetery to fulfill some photo requests. I searched the inventory list available through the city of Middlefield, and only found Fred Alford. I searched the plots and am sure I have the right area... I see no grave marker for Fred or Maude Alford. There is a large space where many persons are buried, none with markers. I took a photo of the grassy area where Fred Alford should be. Do you want that? All the best to you, Ingrid

Thank you for your suggestion and I am aware of JW's achievements. However I no longer put content in a memorial's bio section due to how the Find A Grave Terms of Services are now being interpreted.

It was my pleasure. I almost got all 14 requests for that cemetery. A few graves had no stones. Don't hesitate to ask if there are other stones in this area you would like photos of. It's my little weekend activity throughout the summer.

One more question concerning the ohio county archived cemetery listing. Is this an online database that anybody can access? Can you tell me how I can access the database or point me in the right direction please and yes I am a relative and would very much appreciate maintaining these Gosnell memorials.

Thanks

I saw where you added memorials some time back for 130695832 and 130695731 Henry and Harriet Gosnell. Tent Church Cemetery, New Alexandria, Jefferson County, Ohio, USA Jun 01, 2014. I'm curious where you got your information that they were buried there since there are no tombstones for these two individuals. I would like to see if there was anything additional mentioned about the other Gosnells buried there as well. Maybe a church record was your source???

Appreciate any help you can give on this

Sorry for the confusion! I must have misspelled Philinda's name on the request for correction. It is, in fact, Philinda and not Philindia. Thanks for the corrections. Bob Davis

Cheri Winslow
RE: Minnie Cobb @Middlefield
I'm the one who put in the photo request for her at Middlefield, last May.

I just found the other memorial at # 153838024 and it has a photo of her father's gravemarker with the word "Daughter *1894*" at the bottom of it. It doesn't have Minnie's name.

I found her birth and death records in familysearch.org. She was born and died on the same day 25 Aug 1894, in Orwell, Ashtabula County, Ohio.

Minnie's mother died in 1939 and was buried in Middlefield. Minnie's father died in 1951 and was buried in Orwell. There are photos of both their gravemarkers.

Thanks for your interest and patience with this mystery.

Irene A Krohn (____ - 1916)*
Vivian M Krohn (____ - 1917)*
Ruth L Krohn (____ - 1919)*
Arthur R Krohn (1925 - 1944)*

There are 2 memorials w/the same picture:
63633078 Maple Shade Cemetery w/all these links

and
19185815 but Mildred L w/dates 1875-1991 Shadyside w/o all the links.

Just checking w/each creator to determine if these are duplicates. Also the husband w/different dates is in both cemeteries.

Also, I just sent an edit to link their daughter Marion 150662670 in Maple Shade Cemetery.

Hoping the 2 creators can get together.
