Igor, not sure that is the case....most (99%+) of the stones are in English...I don't recall seeing any in Hebrew. Joan

I want to thank you for taking the photo of the gravestone of my great-great grandmother, Bertha Siegel. I live in California and seldom get to visit Massachusetts. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. Thanks again,

Natan is fine, Igor. It is the same name as Nosson. The first is Ivrit (Modern Hebrew) and the other is Ivris (Yiddishized Hebrew or Biblical Hebrew.)
You are right that Nissan is a different name.
Thank you for explaining.
All the best, and happy Chanukah. This isn't the first time that I will see Chanukah and Christmastime at the same time.

I had a message that you declined an edit for a couple of people on my tree. I don't know what I sent you that you disagreed with.
So, please, in the future, when I send you an edit that disagrees with your information, would you let me know what you think I gave you in error? I would so appreciate that, because this is my family that I'm researching.
All the best to you.

It's nice to hear from you as well. Things are going good for me. I hope they are for you as well.
I'm glad to hear that they are all related. Not sure who helen is married to but she is buried next to Nathan so maybe he's her husband.
I just noticed on mount ararat's website that charles and Ilise Rose share the same plot number as helen goldwasser. I don't remember if there were headstones for them there or not, or if I just bypassed them thinking they weren't related b/c of their last names. let me know if they are related to you and I will go back and take their pictures.
talk to you soon.

How have you been?
Minnie is buried with the following people:
Lillian Slater Barthel
Minnie Limmers Koplowitz
June, Nathan, Benjamin, & Helen Goldwasser
I think barthel might be lillian's maiden name.
Have a great day :) Talk to you soon.

Igor, Glad to hear you got your photos. As for CKofC, plots are not chronological but rows are numbered so you can get a location when you take a picture. Joan

|Richard Boyer||Zelig Miller - Beth Abraham Cemetery|
There is a mistake on the death certificate for Zelig Miller. He is actually buried in the old section of Shaare Torah Cemetery, called the Gates of Wisdom, along with Celia and Rose Miller. Please remove his memorial from Beth Abraham. I will add it to Shaare Torah.

I was there visiting friends and relatives. I'll be there for the first days of Succoth and can try to make time for that then. I'll be on a very tight schedule, but I do want to go there, because I have a couple of my own relatives buried there whose graves I didn't find last time. It is a big cemetery.
I'll do my best to get there and find your requested graves. Email me a list (email@example.com) if you want me to look for anyone else.
I wish you all the best for the new year, Igor.

Igor, There are a number of graves in this Cemetery that are all in Hebrew...no English name on them at all. I can't read them so they could be there after all, I just wouldn't know it. Joan

|Joan F. Byington||Berenson|
Igor, I did not find Simon or Rebecca Berenson in Chebra Kadisha of Chelsea Cemetery....I did find Sarah (d. 1949), Barnet (d. 1906), Ida (d. 1904) and Louis. Could they be buried in Chebra Kadusha of Boston? JCAM has no record. I have to admit the names of these two cemeteries confuse me...I went to Chebra Kadisha of Chelsea because of the Chelsea designation on the request. Joan

Hi Igor, I am happy to look up your requests specifically on the request page next time I go. I'm afraid they are filled infrequently because this is such a massive place and many areas are inaccessible. I try to go and do small sections and it takes hours of effort to fill just a handful. Next time I go, I will note your requests and do what I can.
