RE: Dewitt White
You're welcome! There was a DeWitt C. White (1859-1909, mem#127389838) that died in Clinton, Missouri but was buried in the Taberville Cemetery in Taberville, St. Clair Co., Missouri. I suspect you may already knew that. There is no marker photo posted on that memorial. Fred

Mary Etta Smith Covill
I copied from a cemetery book. She was married to the first husband longer but you never know. You might request a picture of the stone. I have seen cases where they have added the wife and she is not buried there, not saying that this is what happened here. Kay

Lillian "Maudie" Felton
I found her grave yesterday and she is buried next to her husband, and another couple of Feltons who may be Charles's parents. (See caption of area photo). I created memorials for them.

Best regards,

I really have no idea which cemetery she is in. I copied from a cemetery book and since there was a death date I assume she had a stone for them to copy from. Let me know if you want me to delete it. Kay

RE: Cousins?
We sure are cousins then. Charity A. Smith is my Great Grand mother. She is linked to James and Lavina and I have added all the family to findagrave for her and Nels Backstrom's decedent's.
My email is nodzo007 at

Would love to share info and connect

RE: Hoseney
You are very welcome. The headstone was real easy to find. The cemetery has provided me with maps of the entire area. I try to fulfill a request within a few days if I am able because I know how important seeing the headstone is to folks.

RE: Nicholas and Harriet Hawkins
There isn't a transfer link. But if you go to the edit tab then go to "Suggest any other correction or addition" It will send me a link to the memorial, and all I have to do it click on it to go to the page, much easier.

RE: Matthew Patrick
As you noted this Matthew Patrick is not listed on Findagrave. The memorial number you list is for another person which makes things even more confusing. My personal photo archives are filed by cemetery name. If you can give me a cemetery name, I can check those photo files for Matthew. Secondly, if you can give me the reference for where you noted I originally had a memorial for Matthew I might be able to figure out what happened to the memorial for him.

Wendy Hill Friendship
I looked through Texas records, do you have an email address that I could send you a copy of a certificate I think may possibly be the one? You can email privately at

Wendy Hill Friendship
I surveyed the cemetery or at least part of Friendship church in Lowndes Co GA, I saw your photo request for Wendy Hill? that may be near Albert and Ann Rogers. I like challenges so I looked up all Wendy's in that died in the state of Georgia and did for each year 1960-1970. I did find a Wendy R Wilson 6/25/1967 but she was 4 years old and died in Dekalb Co GA DC 017603 and then Wendy A Williams that died in Lowndes Co GA 12/30/1967 was age 1 year. I was wondering if maybe this was a foster child or child of a relative. I posted the pics of Ann and Albert and will have to go back through and see if I have a photo of an unmarked small child next to them. Just curious do you know if Wendy died in Georgia? Cat

permission to use your photos
May I please have permission to use your photos of the grave markers for George W Douglas, Henry Douglas, George T Douglas, Benjamin F Douglas and George F Douglas for our Family genealogy tree?
I submitted these through the photo request.
Thank you,

Patricia Patrick Sousa
RE: Patrick
Both father and the grandfather are Joshua. I think the dates you offer (1762-1842) would fit for a very young man in the Rev. War. That could be Septer's Grandfather.

My father died when I was 18 months old. When my mom remarried a few years later, my mom would not talk about the Patricks. I only this year found out that I grew up less than an hour of my now deceased family members. My mother died over 30 years ago, never telling me.

Thank you very much,
Patti Patrick Sousa

You are most welcome. It's great to get the memorials handed off to family who will keep them linked and updated. I appreciate when people transfer my family to me, too.

Taylors in Fredericktown, OH
I tried to transfer using the member number in the e-mail, but that isn't a recognized number. I'm guessing that's a cut-and-paste glitch of a memorial number. Is it ok to use the number on your profile page here?
