I think you did it correctly! Go to the memorial page and hit the EDIT button, then make a suggestion or request. That way the memorial manager has the correct memorial # as well as your own contributor # to use.

Best wishes

Yes you can upload the photos to Ancestry. I wasn't aware when I took the photos that he was Famous or I might have done a more complete job.

Ro, i know the book you are speaking of. Would you be so kind to email them to me? Hubby took a picture of the page they had opened and we talkes about asking to take more but didn't. BTW which Foster and or Dodge do you descend from, I don't remember. Rosemary

RE: Harry and Guy Marion Dodge photos
Ro, you are most welcome to download the photos of Guy Marion and Harry E. Dodge. Harry and Guy are my 1st cousins, 3 times removed. Lucretia Davis, Dr. Edward Foster Dodge's first wife, is my 2nd Great-Grandaunt. I have five carte-de-visite originals, four of which are of Harry and Guy, and one of which is a woman, Josie Williams, whose connection to the family I have not yet established. There is also an original small photo of Norman Morrison from Vernon, Oneida Co., NY. I would very much like to exchange genealogical information and images with you if you are willing. My e-mail address is I'm in Mesa, AZ.

RE: Mary (Ebey) Bozarth gravestone photo
Oh, yes, you are welcome to use the photo. I have no problem with the use of the photos I post on findagrave. That is the main purpose of my photographing cemetery gravestones. I have been creating memorials of people buried in the local cemetery (Sunnyside) although I am related to none of them. So I have no problem either with transferring ownership of any of them to those who are related.

No I don't. This is from my husband's great niece's Ancestry file. She apparently got it from other Ancestry files. All only show cropped picture.
