RE: John G Kircher
Yes. Here's how it goes: My great grandmother was Rosa Sims. Her father was Homer Sims who married Mary E Beach. Homer's father was John Sims who married Mary Etta Reed. John and Mary had a daughter, Mary M. Sims (1861-1912) who married Charles H. Kircher. John Kircher was his son. That makes John Kircher my 1st cousin 3x removed according to Ancestry.

Hello. I'm just starting to get into my family heritage. Are any of the 2 of Polish descend? And do they have a son by the name John Martin Bloom who married Helen Elizabeth Bloom(Graham)who are apparently deceased. I believe Martin birth place is Ege, In and Helen birthplace is Waterloo, IN. Thanks so much.

HI David, I do not have the date of David Witherspoon's death, but could you check the cemetery records, for me please... I would be forever grateful to you... but I have a cemetery in southern Missouri, that had the only records, and their building burned to the ground, not once but twice... may you have the best of all the luck everyday of your life... s.orton

RE: Earl Stewart

I am distantly related to Earl. Looks like they were two more victims of the great Spanish Flu epidemic of 1917/18. My grandparents died just a few hours apart in the epidemic, and Warrensburg was hit hard. Very interesting piece of our history. Are you familiar with it?

Thanks for the pictures - they are wonderful! Do you mind if I add them to my website? I will cite you as the source if it's okay.

Thanks a bunch!

You are so kind. I cannot delete any photos due to not being the person who posted them. Once you delete your photos you will love to see what I post. Lloyd's mother lost this son in WWI, another son, James Donald Hoyt was killed during WWII and her husband died in a home for the disabled vets from injuries sustained in the Civil War. He was in the hospital for many years.

Today, the only reason disability and pensions are paid to Americans is because of his mother and a handful of other people in Ohio. As a group they traveled around the U.S. and lobbied Congress for payment to the vets and families along with housing.

It is just unbelievable to me that people today think it is just something the government created to take care of our soldiers when in fact, people fought real hard for years begging for that right.

Again, thank you so very much for finding out what happened to Lloyd. Do you know that our Smithsonian Institute will not even talk about this aircraft disaster because the American Navy had not completed payment on the dirigible and neither did the British so the American Government does not claim this aircraft, hence, nothing in the Smithsonian.

Big Hugs,

your Hartford/McNulty So Bend Connection
Hi David,
I saw your posting of the obit on Thomas Hartford (husband of Mary McNulty) I have been tracing quite a few of the Irish Families in South Bend (my 2nd GGP Martin Brennan and Catherine Corcoran supposedly traveled via train to South Bend with the McNultys and Frains) and they all lived next to each other on Notre Dame Avenue (listed next to the McNulty (ND Avenue) and Hartford family's on Corby street in the 1900 census in So Bend). Here is a link the South Bend Irish families I have traced thus far (I have a lot of info on the McNultys I would be more than happy to share!

I would love to hear from you so that we could share information!
