You're welcome. I added John S. Welch, Emma Welch and Earl Welch memorials at Valhalla. I believe John S. is Jessie's husband. I don't know if the other two are related, but wanted to bring to your attention.

RE: Albert W. Ellsworth
Yes, Albert William Ellsworth was white. He was a brother to my great grandfather, Rufus Lovert Ellsworth. I would be very interested in trade information with you, as I don't think I may have all of Mary Cornelia and Albert's children. Newspaper account is wrong. Thank you. Lula

Eldred Pickett
Rose Forker at Mount Hazel Cemetery(Detroit)
Can you contact the City of Detroit to get a grave location? I haven't been able to find a stone for her yet, but many of the older stones are unreadable. The last number I knew for the responsible department was 313-224-1103. If they can give you a location, it may narrow down my search area...

RE: Columbus Rouse (#90649457)
Thanks for catching this, Julie. I've pulled the photo. A friend, a longtime member of the Mt. Olive congregation, has had a number of modest markers (about the size of a large brick) made up for otherwise unmarked graves at Mt. Olive. I believe this one is in error. We will need to retrieve it from the cemetery, in addition to pulling the photo. This Columbus Rouse had no marker, but his death was documented in the Emmons Funeral Home records, including the notation, "Died at Shelbyville." I don't see any evidence that there ever was any Columbus Rouse who died in 1857. Such errors are the risk one takes in erecting markers long after a death.

Columbus Rouse's father was John Rouse, who died in 1883. He's probably buried at Mt. Olive, but I have no good proof. Columbus' mother was Mary Eliza (Weaver) Rouse Edwards, who died in 1941. She also has no marked grave; probably at Bethel Baptist with her 2nd husband, Early Edwards.

Thanks for the info Julie. Do you know anything about Mary's parents? You indicated her maiden name was Bowers. Jan

Mary & Carrie Barnes
Hi Julie,

You left me an edit on Mary Barnes #32336255 and Carrie Barnes #10992374 suggesting their maiden names. I am very happy to add them but before I do, may I ask how you know this information is correct? In my research I have been unable to identify their maiden names.

Thank you for catching my mistake in the second paragraph. He is my 2nd great grand uncle and I should have been more careful. Jan

Fitzpatrick at Bunker Hill
I noticed you are maintaining this family at Bunker Hill. I am trying to locate the burial of John Vorhees Fitzpatrick son of Philip and Sarah (Wilson). Would make sense for him to be there also. Any idea?

RE: Florence Chase
Thanks for answering. I was going to offer to transfer it to you if you were a relative. I created the memorial because I am posting Pocasset burial cards to findagrave. I am glad we were able to correct such an error.

RE: Charity Lane Meldrum
You are welcome! Most of the headstones in the cemetery were very difficult to read. Time has taken it's toll on them. It does look like the tried to fix most of them - Charity being one of them. I hope you were able to figure out her death date. Good luck with your research.

Kimberly
Hanlen family in Kent, WA
Hi Julie, got the chance to fulfill your photo request for William Hanlen this afternoon. His wife, Doris, is buried next to him in the same cemetery. She didn't have a Find A Grave memorial so I went ahead and created one, and linked her to William. I'm happy to transfer the memorial to you. And you have my permission to use the photographs for whatever you wish.

I did a quick search and saw that Doris may have the maiden name Brazill, but don't have time to dig deeply to confirm. I noticed your family lines include Brazill, so I'm assuming this is your Doris.

Hope this helps you.

Thank you for transferring the memorial for Pauline Walker #103022516 in Resthaven Cemetery to me. She grew up in my area of Iron River & Stambaugh in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and I have added more information for her and made family connections.
