RE: Oatfield, Pomeroy, Gaines
Oatfields at PM? Yes, a list would be great. Thanks!

Oatfield, Pomeroy, Gaines
Outstanding photos, as always, Carolyn. The Oatfield memorials have particular meaning to Milwaukie researchers and I was glad, with your help, to add to that family's Find A Grave presence. I'm sure they're also represented in MPC.

What to say about the Pomeroy urn? My goodness, it looks as though it's in a remote, forgotten corner of the mausoleum! Cobwebs galore, etc. It must have been a challenge to get to it.

Thank you so much, Carolyn. I always look forward to your pictures with genuine anticipation.

Huntington, Goodwin
Thank you for the terrific pictures, Carolyn. One of Elmer Goodwin's granddaughters asked me to do some research on the family, and she'll be pleased to see the photo. The interment location was previously unknown to the heirs.

Nancy & Rich Remling
I'm afraid all the info I have on Wilson & Betsy is from Find A Grave itself. I have been trying to extend some lines for distant cousins. I will keep an eye out for any additional info, but for now I have nothing more than what others have reported on here.

Schenz, Viganego, Pope

My apologies for sending you on a wild goose chase with the Pope markers --- the words "vault interment" on death certificates can usually be relied on to indicate actual burials, so I'm not sure what happened. Sorry!

Schenz and Viganego look terrific. The gold embossing on the crypt markers is quite beautiful, but I imagine it's challenging to get good images when the marker face is polished. Much appreciated.

Hugs to you, and give your trusty camera a little well-deserved smooch from me!

Photo Of Burial Place
Carolyn, Thank you for taking and adding the photo of the burial place to John & Beatrice Frainey's memorial page, who are both buried in Wilhelm's Portland Memorial.

We are so appreciative of your time and effort for taking this photo for us. It has been a long search to locate them. Thank you for volunteering your time to Find A Grave.

Thomas Niner
Thanks alot for trying to take a photo of Thomas' headstone. I removed the photo request.

Woodcock, Couch
The Woodcock crypt marker is one of the more unusual ones I've seen for awhile. It's very artistically rendered, and quite beautiful. I must visit that section of the mausoleum during the next Open House.

Your photos spoil us ---- you make it seem so effortless. Never a mention of the aching back, twisted ankles, bone-chilling cold, sweltering heat, and other conditions that present challenges to your work. Now THAT'S devotion to duty!

Thanks, Carolyn! You are the best.

Zivney, Holmes
I much appreciate the "better" photo you posted for Holmes. I happily deleted my clunky image and hope nobody saw it! The Zivney picture was excellent, too. The work continues!

RE: John Domer Dunlap
Yes I do and Thank you. Great-Grandpa is along the highway (Paved road) My Dad says that he is 3rd or 4th up from the dirt road that goes into the cemetery. I hope that helps. He used to have a steel marker and someone took it. I would like to find him, because I intend to put a stone down. His Son did not do it. If you had some kind of map we could pinpoint him exactly.

Thank you so very much for taking and posting these pictures. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated.

Bring 'em on! I'm trying to piece the family together, one person at a time. If you can find other Zivneys at PM, I'd appreciate photos. Thanks!

Terrific photos again, Carolyn. I'm particularly gratified to see the Zivney family reunited once again through your images. Much appreciated!

RE: Immogene Warren-PS
I don't see what you have to be sorry about?? It is not your fault those people chose the worst possible crypt ever made by human hands before.
I suppose I would feel sorry too since I really like getting good pictures and it is kind of frustrating to me when you get some gravestone that is worn and stained real bad and in very poor lighting conditions and try as you might you just cannot get a very good looking picture of it.
I "get it", ok?

RE: Immogene Warren
Yes, that is what I said. There is no way you could have gotten a better picture. You did pretty darn good is what I was saying also with the crazy crypt face you had to work with.

Immogene Warren
Gad zooks. That was another one that was real pain in the rear to try to get a picture of I am sure! What were they thinking? Didn't they know that people in the future would have digital cameras and would try getting pictures of their crypts? :-] I've never seen a crypt quite like that one before. Besides her mother's crypt, that is. It is just as bad.
Thanks for doing the best you could on those two.

David Zivney
The photo is great! Thanks SO much.

My e-mail seems to be having problems, so just in case you didn't hear from me, would you please add the Zivney photo to:

Robert Lee Eskridge
Marie Watts Eskridge

I'm still researching the connection between David Zivney and the Eskridges. It seems there's always another mystery to solve!

Your photos are always terrific, and I really appreciate your sharp eye for surrounding markers with shared surnames. You've helped make links that otherwise would have gone undiscovered. Can't thank you enough!
