RE: Taylor graves
Been working on my Underhill family since 1970's when I found Eleanor Underhill headstone in 1975 - Back in 1975 76 recorded part of this cemetery with help of Betty Sewell and C Barnett - in 2015 recorded Headstones by Camera again here in Fredericton area and on the Miramichi area of NB where I was born. My Loyalist ancestor settled in Maugerville in 1783 and his son ventured to Miramichi in 1806. Now I am retired in Fredericton and working on this Cemetery online this year now - glad I did help the cause.

Mount Royal Cemetery Photo Request
Mount Royal Cemetery has 165 acres. The burial plot location must be supplied so a volunteer can go take the photo.

You can get this free information by emailing your request to

The cemetery will email you the location (3-10 working days).

Have the memorial updated with the plot number.

You will have made it possible for the photo to be taken.

I know the feeling of having someone else make corrections. I don't always have time to check every suggested edit and I know there is now mis-information on some of the memorials I created. Also I think Find A Grave will make corrections to a memorial when asked, and they have no way of knowing the info is correct or not.

You're very welcome. Can't help but wonder about the relationship to all the other names on the stone.

RE: Betsey Chase
Buggy? Sorry about that...yes, Maine bugs can seem to grow to the size of little Maine moose (LOL). THANK YOU for persisting in getting this wonderful photo in spite of enduring those bugs!

Betsey Chase
Hi Pam,
Thank you so much for taking the photo of Betsey Chase's headstone on Severy Hill, Maine. I was just notified by Find A Grave. Excellent photo, and so very much appreciated!

RE: Charles C. Packard
His obituary states he was born April 30, 1833 in Farmington, Maine and died September 2, 1917 at the home of his daughter. Obituary is in the September 6, 1917 edition of the Grand Rapids Tribune. Hope this helps!

RE: Charles C. Packard
You are most welcome for the photos. I have found a death date of Sept 6, 1918.

Good luck in your research.

You're welcome. I didn't see Rufus Clayton there tonight, but didn't take a lot of time. I have a library resource that can help me verify if there was a stone there in the early 1980s and where it might be (there was a transcription done of Winona County, Minnesota Cemeteries at that time). I will let you know the outcome either by fulfilling that request or by "reporting a problem." Thanks!

While in the area, I "stumbled" onto the Starbird Corner cemetery. Was looking for a different one. Decided to photograph the whole thing and, once I discovered which cemetery I was actually in, noticed that you have some requests there as well. Check back tomorrow for those. Seems my "miss" adventures will be very lucky for you :)
