Find A Grave Memorial# 106243419
If you call Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum at 708- 453-0273 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.

Hi! Regarding your photo request, can you please contact the cemetery and obtain the Section, Lot, and Grave Number information, and then post it to your request? Please also ask if there is a grave marker and add that information to your photo request and/or memorial. The Find A Grave FAQs state the photo requestor is responsible to provide this information.
Elmwood Cemetery: (708) 453-0273
This cemetery provides extremely limited assistance to photo volunteers with finding a grave's location. Last year I was able to fulfill almost 200 photo requests at Elmwood through this process. Because the lots in this cemetery are poorly marked, almost no one else ever photographs here. I have only had success here because I have spent literally weeks at a time to learn the intricacies of the layout of this cemetery.
Thank you for helping me to help you.

Instead of my deleting the memorial with its obit,
why don't I transfer the memorial to you so you can merge the two memorials.

Yes, you have my permission to use the Couch photos at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Please use this line:

Thank you very much for being considerate in asking if you could use the photos.

Just to be sure that we are on the same page: Yes, Louis is buried to the left of his wife Elizabeth in the Northville Cemetery. When the weather clears and I can clean up the stone, I will take better
photos of the monument.

Christine, I have posted photos of Louis & Elizabeth's gravesite at Northville (CT) cemetery.
I actually added Louis to Northville Cemetery but will delete it once you have identified where he is buried on your memorial.Regards, Mike

|John Ival Blair||Elizabeth Franz Scherzinger Lohman/Ohmen|
How I wish you had written a couple of months ago while my wife was still living! She always liked her great aunt Lizzie and wondered where she was buried. (My wife died November 3.)
But my wife had always remembered Lizzie as having a second married name of "Lohman" although that certainly could be a mis-remembering after all these years. I'm going to quiz my brother-in-law about what he remembers of his great aunt Lizzie. Meanwhile, thanks very much for this information. How can I get a copy of the obituary?

|J M Shannon||RE: Harold Losby|
I have looked and tried but can not add Oscar and Mamie to Harold's page. So, I have made a note at the end of his bio so they are there with their memorial numbers.
They certainly should be recognized and that is the only way I can find to do it. I'm sorry this took so long.

I didn't post the photo so I am unable to remove it. I would suggest contacting the contributor whose link is below the photo. Is it possible the Paul Hormann you speak of is a different Paul Hormann?

|Grave Recorder||Mount Olive Photo Request|
Hi. I will be going to Mount Olive cemetery over the next 3 or 4 weeks (weather permitting) to take photos of my relatives grave sites and I saw you had a request(s). If you would call the cemetery office (number on the front page of the cemetery page) and get the location of the burial, I will try to get the photo request for you while I am there. Just add it to your memorial in the plot section. They are very helpful at the office. Kathy

Mother and father's #s are the same. Would you please send again with correct father's #? I tried to figure it out, but was not certain. I can't link the sibling, as I do not manage that memorial.

Can you transfer this memorial to me? I have quite a bit of info to add to it.
Hello! Christine, Thanks for bringing the
Stafford memorials to my attention. I have
been busy working in another cemetery and
put them on the 'back burner', so to speak.
Send me the info, I will be glad to add it
to their memorials. The monument photos are
on there now, and I have been adding info
also. Check it out!

I have photos of all the John W family as well as the Frank and Mary Cherniske family with daughter Agnes A & son James F (who died 10/1946 at age 21-military stone). I will be posting all of the Cherniske's on the St Francis Xavier cemetery site within a couple of days.
There are a number of Cherniske families in the New Milford area.
