Kristina N Peterson
I came across this grave while doing some family history. Kristina was my Grandfather Chris N. Peterson's mother. She came from Denmark but I'm having a difficult time finding who her husband was. She was widowed by 1900 at the age of 43 according to the Federal census. Abel was one of her sons who never married. Hilda was the late wife of her son, Chris N. who past away during childbirth. Chris N. remarried to Floy Avis and had two Children, Donald and Harold. Chris N. I'm told is buried with his second wife, Floy. He last resided in Cedar Grove, NJ.

Alice Martin LaRue
Mt. Horeb
Hi Wendy...I did not put Mt. Horeb as her place of birth because in
Hannah's own handwriting she said, "Mt. Horeb is only a church and cemetery several miles from any town. It was about a half mile from our home."
Let me know what info you are looking for, and will share it with you if I have it.

RE: Anderson family
Hi Wendy,

I would love to see the information you have about the Anderson family. I tried emailing both the email addresses, one bounced back and I didn't hear from the other so I don't know if it went through or not.

I'm hoping you're still willing to share what you'd found. My email is

RE: Steed in Alpine
Hi Wendy, was kind of hoping I stumbled on another realtive of a sort :) but yes, if you want to transfer the Steed memorials to me that is fine. I opened several others this weekend. I am Hugh Steed's namesake and Margaret Steed is my grandmothers sister so will open up the other Steeds (their children)shortly.

I am also in contact with Steeds back in Scotland.

Thanks very much.

RE: Just Wondering?
I would greatly appreciate it I am from out of state so it is very hard to get there myself and when I called the lady at the office to see about her possibly giving me the location to help people out. She was not in a very good mood and was not very helpful. So even hearing you are willing to try is music to my ears.

Just Wondering?
I was just wondering I know you usually take Danish families pictures which I respect but I was wondering if you could take some pictures I have requested at Alpine Cemetery as from being out of state it is very hard to find anyone to get them for me.

I just wanted to say "Thank you" for adding more of my family to this site. Anton is my great-grandfather. Do you plan to continue taking photos in Alpine Cemetery?
