John Rogers
Jacob Rogers
Hi, my ggg grandfather is Asa L Rogers. He is one of Jacob's brothers. Asa was born in Nelson co. Ky. He moved with his family from Ohio co. Ky to start a farm very near to Portland Mills in Clinton township Putnam co. Indiana around 1822. His son Jesse is the father of my great grandfather Samuel Joshua Rogers. Would be nice to hear from you.

Aufricht family, Mt. Tam Cemetery
It is always a pleasant surprise when revisiting a memorial, to discover that some nice person has added a tombstone photo.
I am sure that others are also appreciative.
Thank you very very much.

re: Mary Cobb
Thank you for your time and resources that you provided to take the picture of Mary's headstone. The photo that you took provides our family with a tangible connection to her.

It is people like you that generously give of themselves, with no expectation of any return. That is what makes Find A Grave such a great resource and in turn enables our family to search from afar.

Thank you again for what you have done for us.

RE: Jacob and Precious Jane Rogers
Yes I have a better picture. I just posted it up. Someone used something pretty harsh on the stone to clean it. You can still make most of it out though.

Benjamin Harris Sr
Thank you for your message. Unfortunately I did not create the memorial for Benjamin Harris Sr, so I cannot make the date correction. Harold Womble, #46531730 did and should be able to make the correction for Benjamin Sr.

RE: Your photo request - Everett Graham
Hi Robyn - Ooops...Ellen's memorial already existed at this cemetery. The memorial you placed a request on is a duplicate. (a find a grave no-no) Would you please delete the duplicate you created and place the photo request on the original memorial.

FYI-- You can request that the original VA memorial be transferred to you. Steps to do this are:

1) Go to Edit tab on the "Make a suggestion..." (first option)

2) In the message request a transfer of memorial, state your relationship, etc. and include your member number.

Find A Grave management is usually pretty liberal about VA transfers if you have info to add.

Thank you - Laurel

Your photo request - Everett Graham
Hello calsma - You currently have a photo request for Everett Graham at the Fort Bliss National Cem in El Paso, TX. Everett is buried with his wife Ellen Warden Graham. Would you like a photo of her side of the marker? Is so, please place a separate photo request for her also. I should be heading out to get the photos tomorrow morning. - Thank you - Laurel

John & Laura Pritchett Leineman.

I will get a better photograph of John & Laura Leineman's tombstone. I've noticed the tombstones that are high-gloss and in the shade tend to have low contrast between the inscriptions and the non-inscribed areas. This makes the writing kind of semi-blurry. It doesn't stand out good.

The tombstone is in great shape, and I hope to do a better job next time (even if I have to take a flashlight).

Best Wishes,

One more time... correctly.

I am sorry about confusing your relative "John Leinemann" with "Anna Desper". I have a list of people needing to be found in Oak Lawn, and I got mixed-up. I guess I have a brain that needs to be found. I've got it all straight now.

Also, I accidentally hit the [ENTER KEY] after typing in the subject line of my last message to you ("I'm sorry about the wrong name.").

This should go through just fine, and I'll not be annoying you anymore. You should be most pleased. yea!

Have A Swell Day, my Friend.

Mostly Sin-Seared,

RE: not Anna Vesper, John Leinemann

Due to our time differences I was out the door and gone by the time your message arrived giving me the location of John Leinemann's resting place.

I will be going back to Oak Lawn tomorrow, and I'll look for your relative's gravesite. You say you have other relatives at Oak Lawn... if you want to send me their names (and, if possible, the dates of birth and/or death) I will see if I can find them also.

No need to apologize about living on "Pacific Time". I could use at least a year of living on "Pacific Time" myself.

Feel free to use my email address if you wish, or here is fine. I just want to make sure I do notintrude upon your privacy.

I hope your Halloween was a Fun & Safe One!

Anna Vesper.

Halloween Greetings!

I am going to Oak Lawn Cemetery tomorrow. If you can call the office at Oak Lawn, and get the burial area and plot number, I'll get you a photograph of Anna Vesper's resting place.

I can probably get by with the area (Knoll Wood, Crest View, etc.).

Best Wishes,
