|Karen M Callahan||RE: Callahan|
Hi -- I'm so happy to hear from you as I've been going to try to meet with Ione Callahan to find out more about John Raymond's family. His brother Jeremiah (and Margaret Cunningham) Callahan were my grandparents. Their son Robert (Bob) was my dad. So, that's how I'm related. I never met John Raymond. I have lots of info on the rest of Joe & Ellen's children, but not much (even a Picture) of John Raymond's. I appreciate your putting the obits in print. I have most of them on paper, but haven't had time to transfer them to the FindaGrave files. I have access to the Freeborn County Historical Museum's Library which as a great genealogical library. They have lots of obits in paper files as well as newspapers on film to search. I can get copies for $.25 each. Let me know what you need and if I don't already have it I can easily get it. Where are you located? If you are close to Albert Lea you could visit the Museum Library for $7.50 per day, or become a museum member for $25 individual or $35 family per year and then have free access to the library. The librarian there is very knowledgeable in genealogy, plus since all these relatives were raised and lived in the general area there is a lot in the newspapers as well. Have you ever visited the St James Cemetery? A great percentage of those buried there are relatives on both sides of the family--i.e. Callahan/Honan/Cunningham/Carey/Tuohy, etc etc.
I have a family tree on Ancestry.com as well. If you are on Ancestry I can give you viewing access to my tree. It has lots of pics in it and I still have lots to add.
I'm looking forward to hearing more from you, in the meantime I'll keep adding your obits to the FindaGrave files.

Many in the New Richland area are family and family friends and my mother knows how most of the families are connected. I have been having her help my with adding info for genealogy hunters. I am trying to take photos to add and take a few each time I visit the cemeteries. I really appreciate all the time that you took to get all of this started and am amazed at all of the information that you gathered from the cemeteries. Thank for all you hard work!

|Don Aldrich||Hedin in Vista Lutheran Cemetery|
I got down to the Vista Lutheran Cemetery this morning. I added pictures of the other Hedin's buried in the same plot. There is a sixth Hedin, a John David Hedin 1935-2000, buried to the left (south) of Pastor J Melvin Hedin. There was no memorial for him so I didn't input his photo.
In addition, I added a photo of Elni Westerlund's headstone with a caption that says her husband was not located nearby. I can delete my photo as there was a good one there already if you desire.

|Arlys Walvatne||Victor Millard Guyer #13190451|
Hi I was wondering why Victor's obituary was recorded under his bio instead where it is on the memorial. I have a picture of him that I would like to post but if I do the cemetery and headstone won't show on the memorial. Can the obit be deleted off so I can post his picture. He is on my tree because he married Amanda Walvatne Wolfs' daughter Jennie Caroline Wolf and I believe the memorial would look a lot nicer with his obit under the bio section instead on the right side of the memorial. Hope you can help Thanks Arlys Walvatne

|Brenda Denney||Diane Eloise Parrish|
Thank you very much for putting information on Find A Grave.
My mother died on January 1st and so I was working on updating some family history and I noticed an error.
Diane's middle name should be Ellouise. She was named after her mother. My mother was her sister and all family documents have the correct spelling.
I was hoping that you could update the spelling of her name. Thanks.
