Mary Davis
Hello,

For the last 3 years when we have visited the Silver Leaf Cemetery in Lee County, Virginia, I have tried to find gravestones for those who had a photo request.

I have not been able to locate a gravestone for Mary Davis. I did find a stone for Mollie S. Davis which has the same dates as Mary's memorial except that the gravestone has the death date as November 10, 1919 instead of November 19, 1919.

I was wondering if Mary may have been called Molly and that this is the gravestone that you were looking for. I found nearby the stone for Mary's husband and a stone for an infant which was the son of C. C. and Mollie Davis whose birth and date year match one listed in Mary's memorial.

There is a memorial listed for the Silver Leaf cemetery for Molly S. Davis which has a photo of this stone. However, this memorial does not have any other information.

I also sent this message to the yahoo email and attached the photos.

Thanks,
Audrey Johnston

Martin Hunt @ Holy Sepulchre in Rensselaer, NY
Hi,
I walked the very large section 5 looking for Martin. I didn't find him...yet...(not giving up quite yet) BUT I did find a large HUNT stone with inscriptions on both sides of the stone. Search the Hunt name for Holy Sepulchre and they should be there. MAYBE this will help in your research. Also behind that stone and on a smaller profile was another couple by the name of HUNT. Also, not on Find-A-Grave yet so I added them. Take a look.

Lizzie Warner does not have a stone, nor does her child. I purchased the remaining grave sites from the Warner family several years back as they are next to my parents' grave site. Barb Richmond Martin

I don't think the cemetery started until 1800's unless he was moved to the cemetery later? I will look for him,

RE: Myron Lawfer
Holly, I'm sorry it wasn't the one you wanted. What I had done was print off the list of requests from that cemetery and took it to the funeral home that has the burial information. So, basically we went by name and date of death. So, I went by what was requested. I am no longer in the area to fulfill the request so, you may have to put another request out there.

I also took pictures for Lillian (1894-1980), Laura (1856-1927), and VanOrden (1854-1932). I can email them to you, or post them if there are memorials for those people.

I think I found the headstone in Multnomah Park Cemetery, but it says "GeorgIE Smith", not George, but with the same date of death. Is it possible you meant Georgie? If so, she already has a memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=52068818

This is a different cemetery than the one you suggested. It is in Barnstable, not Yarmouth

Chester William Bowyer
The last name was spelled Boyer in the cemetery records. There are a number of Boyers and a number of Bowyers in the cemetery. I have Chester and Hattie Bowyer in and have also linked them to each other and to an infant son. I corrected the dates on Chester to match the stone as they were also different in the records.

RE: Ephraim Bockover
Check the reading done in 1987 by Judge Wendell Tombaugh. You will see that the only Ephraim S Bockover is in Greenlawn with the rest of his family.
http://www.fulco.lib.in.us/Genealogy/Tombaugh/Cemeteries/Miami%20County/HTML/miami%282%29.htm
Just do a search for "bockover" from "Edit" in the menu at the top of the page.
Good luck!

Reminder for Ernest Palmer
Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.

Thank you! Ace

Bethyl Cemetery is a toough one!
I have been in contact with the new care taker of the cemetery. He has accepted 15-20 names of people we are attempting to locate. Perhaps within 7 days I will have an answer as to the location and perhaps a picture of a grave stone you have requested, Only 1 more week!

Hi! Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 150 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

I did not see any indication in the area where Evelyn should be buried. Nothing looks like a new grave was dug. It is very possible that I did not look in the right place. So you know of any other relations (STOLP) in this cemetery? I found at least 3 more headstones in the vicinity of Evelyn.

Sorry Holly, wrong person. I was working on two different requests for Pioneer Cemetery. Regards Samuel Ray, I could not find that grave stone. Many are in extremely poor condition there. I did find a John Ray and took a photo of that grave stone. Let me know if you want that one.
