RE: thanks for the note...
Thank you, Bryan.

I understand the unexpected "getting busy" thing.

Hope our paths may someday cross.

Yamhill-Carlton Cemetery
Bryan; I see that you have claimed some photo requests for this cemetery. I will unclaim the three that I have so that you may add to your list when you go. Due to my father having passed away this last week, I did not get to them as soon as I would have liked. Wendy

Thanks for taking the photos at the Masonic Cemetery. Too bad it's been so vandalized and left to decay like that. Sad to say, but we have cemeteries like that here too. I guess they're everywhere. I do appreciate your effort and time. Patti :)

Bryan: You Rule!
Bryan, thank you so much for your (photo) AND research on Charles Barker. If I had read only his obituary, since I don't know enough about him, I would have thought he was not our guy. BUT the slip on him with his sister's names makes me nearly perfectly sure he was my great grandmother's brother. I am so grateful to you!
You really did your absolute best. It's incredible how kind some people are!

RE: Jessie Bartlett
Slap my hand...I'm terrible about reading captions. Thank you for all the info and great photos. Looking forward to Martin and Susan Bonham's photos.

Please enter your photos for John and Mary Bartlett. The ones on their individual memorials leave much to be desired. At this moment I don't know exactly where they fit but since their son was born in Cheney, WA, they fit somewhere. My great great grandfather homesteaded in Cheney and the Bartletts and Bonhams knew and intermarried, so they fit somewhere. Thanks again.

Thank you for letting me know. Would it be all right if a copy the pic's and post them on my Greenwood Memorial Support Group page (where he is buried)? Best regards, Christina

Thank you for the information. I'd be very interested in seeing the inscription on the other side of the memorial. My interest is many fold ... 1) My Great-Grandfather had recently purchased the property in 1918 where he is buried (just prior to the lynching). His grave was dug by IWW prisoners and supervised by Military. I've been researching what role my family played in this event. 2) I have approx. 70 family members buried in the cemetery and volunteer and try to help others as much as possible at Greenwood Memorial Park (the owner of the property is currently incarcerated), so I started a support group to help preserve this location 3) His story is very interesting ... I hope my home town of Centralia, WA learned a valuable lesson from this unfortunate event.
