RE: Steinacker
Hi Cindy,
I'm still working on them. It looks like Ruth Steinacker did not have a marker. I'm going to post a photo of her plot without the marker. Do you know of any relatives of hers that she could be buried with that might have a name on a marker? Do you have a plot list for her?

Also, do you know the family name 'Flair'? Daniel Steinacker seems to be buried with them.

Steinacker request
Hi Cindy,
I hope to get to New Cathedral this week for photos--maybe Wednesday. I'll try to get the Steinacker photos for you.

Melissa Medina

I was inducted into the DAR for my other side of the family in January but I would really like to prove a patriot on this side for the sake of my cousins. Can you help me?

I would like to connect John W.S. McKelroy in Daley Cemetery with his father Simon B. McElroy in French Praire Cemetery, would you do that?

Mary Arvidson
Queen of Heaven-Ryan
Hi Cindy-I went out and took the pictures you requested for John Joseph and Dorothy M Ryan. When I went to post them I see that you have already posted pictures of the headstones on their memorial pages. Was there something else that you needed for these gravesites?

Dixon In Dixie
Think we might be some distant kin. Are Alvin and Elizabeth from St. Pete. your family? I remember visiting them when I was a little girl. I'm the genealogy lady in our county library - I completely agree - it is too much fun.

She married Jph Pfaff Russell June 26, 1834 in Wellsburg,WV.Do you have any informatin on them. Please you can e-mail me at but please write in the Elson name so I know it is you.

Ellen Kreuscher-Maresca
RE: Isaac and Ellen Price
You are quite welcome! I went to the cemetery today to visit some relatives. I did not claim the photo request as I wasn't sure the office would give me the information regarding the plot section. The office did give me the location of Isaac & Eliza Price. The Evergreen cemetery historian was so kind to take me to the section to locate, but unfortunately there were no gravestones at the plot. I was hoping there was something there that would help you establish lineage for the DAR. I am sorry it didn't work out, but I was happy to help.

Malinda Carpenter
I linked Malinda Carpenter to her father Isaac Fowler. Malinda is my great great grandmother. So I guess you and I are distant cousins. Always nice to find "new" cousins.
