Do you have the obit of George Seisler?
I am looking to find out if he is the son of Christiana Mary Geisler, daughter of John and Barbara Geisler.

Hi Ron! What a small world family research makes! I think I spoke to your Uncle Leon maybe 15 or so years ago, and he was so very helpful. He directed me to a letter he wrote to my mother, so I am sure that what I have on the Chernich family will only meet what you already have! What ever else I can help, just ask! Karen

|Vivian A. Brown||Jacob Felix|
I was left records from my grandmother who was a DAR historian that my gr-gr-grandmother, Margaret Jane Felix who married my gr-gr-grandfather, Samuel H. Reisinger, was the daughter of Jacob Felix and Mary Elizabeth Gross, and my grandmother had traced the lineage on out from there years ago. Yet when I looked on Findagrave for Jacob Felix, there is an obituary posted as a photo that doesn't list his wife's name Mary Elizabeth and two different daughters names. This is confusing for me. If anyone can clarify all the information that has been passed down in my family and what I'm finding on the Jacob Felix memorial. He died in 1909 His parents were Henry Felix and Rosanna Lawrence as my grandmother's records and family tree she prepared.

We've added Eliza's maiden name to her memorial. We will be retaining management of both memorials.

I have transferred Jacob to you. He is no relation to me. When I find and old record of someone's burial I add it to Find A Grave in case someone else is looking for it. Glad to have Jacob's memorial in a descendent's hands.

Hello, Thank you for the notification of my typo on Ada Edna Seisler Bouchat's maiden name and her parent's links. I had the same information in my research so no need for documentation.

Ron, I am researching myt husbands ancestry and Caroline "Carrie" Chernich is his mother. She was known by the name Carrie and she first married Ed Grabowski and after his death she married George "Bud" LeVan. Are you related to this family?

|Genie Junkie||RE: Edward Seisler Cemetery Monument|
I still have the photos and additional ones that were not listed. I have more photos to take tomorrow. Somehow I missed John in section MF and the Schiefers. The problem with Jeanette is not the cemetery listing. I did not see a headstone although she is buried with Helen & Jacob on MG 37. I will look again and make sure I didn't overlook it. I am glad to be of assistance and it is not a problem. Gethsemane is my neighbor. As soon as I receive notification from Find A Grave I will upload the photos for you. The cemetery web site is quite impressive and extremely helpful in researching. Did you check out the cemetery map locator?

|Genie Junkie||Edward Seisler Cemetery Monument|
The huge monument for Edward Seisler at Gethsemane Cemetery is four sided. In addition to Seisler the following names appear on the monument. Zahn, Koenig and Zentgraf. I thought that you might be interested in this as it may be of some family relationship. I will have the photos for Schiefer for you shortly. I could not find a headstone for Jeanette so I will follow through with the cemetery office to confirm that there isn't a headstone.
