RE: Requests
The cemetery is usually very helpful. I've been taking pictures there for Find A Grave for a couple of years and have had no problems getting locations of gravesites. The director said that in these two cases, the family specifically asked that the location not be given out. It's the first time that it's happened to me.

I'm 'in the process' of photographing the cemetery and might run across them at some point. However, there are over 4,000 interments and growing daily so it's anyone's guess as to when I'll finish and whether or not I'll see them.

Elizabeth Lee
Hi Amy,

I found an Elizabeth Lee at Elmwood who passed in March 30, 1845. You have 1847. Is is possible this is the same person?

If so, I will go ahead and upload the photo.

RE: Mecklenberg
You're welcome for the photo. I believe one of the parents passed away recently. When I went to the cemetery, the parents' marker had been taken up, probably to have the name inscribed. I will stop back by and get a photo of that grave too at some point.

RE: Frederick Lee
Not sure when I'd get there again, its not in a good area of Saginaw, even makes my husband nervous.
But on the plus side I have the obit of Chas Lee if you would like it.

You've piqued my curiosity
Hi, When you said your relative, Chas Lee was a homicide victim I decided I would go to the library (on Sat) and check out the obit and any articles that the index indicates they have. So I will get back with you.

Harry N Lipscomb
Let me know if he isn't there and again, if I go to the Tacoma Cemetery and remember (hehehe), I'll check with them.

RE: Lipscomb and Koons
Hi, You are welcome for the photos and info. I don't know where Harry N. Lipscomb is buried. I would imagine since he died in Centralia, WA area, he would be buried near there. Death certificate would be the only way to find out for sure. But if I go to the cemetery again, I'll ask and see if Harry is there.

Take care.

Amy, You did a volunteer photo for Blaine Crawford. Could you please add the same photo to his wife's memorial. They share the same marker...

Harry N Lipscomb?
Hi Amy, Wondering if this might be the Harry Lipscomb, son of Nelson and Annie?

He was 84 when he died in 1953. So that would mean he would be born in 1868 or 1869 depending on his birth date. This Harry N Lipscomb died 22 Sep 1953 in Centralia, Lewis County, Washington.

Just thought I would pass it on. Take care. Andi

Lipscomb and Koons
Hello, You will notice that for Charles Lipscomb and Hattie Koons, there is no definitive markings on the headstone. But according to the cemetery, they are buried there with Nelson and Annie. Hope you like the photos. To get a good view of the writing, I splashed water on them. My best. Andi

Diane Payne
Please if I ever duplicate just give me a holler and I will always remove my entry.

I do my best to not duplicate any contribution on Find A Grave. But accidents do happen.

Best regards,

Jeesh... I always do that... anyway,Find A Grave etiquette is probably addressed on one of the forums but I don't use them so I don't know where it would be. Having said that, my entry was some 9 years previous to Diane's. Having the photo is a bonus but she could have added it to my entry and she would still have gotten credit for it. At any rate, I deleted mine this time (you caught me at a weak moment). Thanks, Karen

Doris Pearson - Edmonds
Amy - see note you left for CDombrowski (#47310245) earlier this year regarding Doris' unmarked grave. I attempted to get location but Edmonds office was closed Friday afternoon. As you took picture of her husbands' marker, would you happen to have general location of marker so I could fulfill request this weekend? Thanks-
Stephen Kronberg (#46985297).

Elmwood in Mason City
I have a great relationship with the cemetery staff here, so I am lucky that I have almost an entire spreadsheet for Elmwood. I don't like sending it out in it's entirety, it's rather large, but I would be more than happy to do any look-ups you might be interested in. I also have copies of the plots maps, so when I go to look for the headstones, I don't wander around nearly as much as I used to.

My email is

Glad I have been able to help thus far.
