Photo Request for Karin Lundeen
My husband and I walked through Bishop Hill Cemetery Friday looking for Karin's grave marker. We saw those of her parents and her brother and looked closely in those areas and didn't see hers. I checked the Bishop Hill Burial Records book, and the daughter Karin is not listed -- only Mrs. Karin Lundeen -- "90y4m29d, wife of Michael; nee: Svenson; b Wagbro, Norrala Parish." For Michael, record shows "born Ringa, Norrala, Helsingland, Sweden."

RE: Jonas Dahlgren
I did not know Aunt Hannah but I do remember meeting Aunt Carrie and Aunt Hattie who lived in Eastern Washington when I was a little girl. I believe in Yakima. John Edwin Cline, my father, was Grace Cline (Jenness) and Harold Hollister Cline's oldest son. Dad was born January 4, 1928 and died April 6,2009. I have one sister, Kathy Ann Peck-Nestell (Cline) who was born September 7, 1952 and lives in Lake Oswego, OR. My only brother, Jeffery Edwin Cline was born July 2, 1957 and lives on Orcas Island, WA. Last weekend my cousin, Jodi Hendrickson (Cline), her twin daughters and her granddaughter met at Bishop Hill. She is Russell Warren Cline's youngest daughter. We were joined by Lisa Adkisson (Schrodt) who is my cousin Christi's daughter and lives in Roseville, IL. Christi could not join us. All of the three sons have passed away but the next generation is still living. I can send you more information if you like.

I am the great-granddaughter of Duley Viola Jenness. My grandmother was Grace Duley Cline (Jenness) and my father was John Cline.

Obviously we are cousins. Of which of the children are you descended?

RE: Alexander Walker
So sorry, Amy. I don't get on here as often as I used to, and just saw your message.
I have not had a chance to get down there, to take a photo. That is most likely his stone. I've been working on our genealogy, on and off, for several years now, and I have several dates for his birth, and death. What my sister and I assumed, since the stone seems to be from a much later date, is that possibly there was a small marker, meant to be temporary, that had incorrect, or no, dates. This stone was probably put in by a relative kind enough to place it.
I've tried to find a death certificate, to get the correct date, but no luck, yet. I'll keep trying, though!
Please let me know if you find any true dates, as well! Take care!

So sorry I just now found your message! Yes, I'm pretty sure this is the correct stone. My info for this Alexander is a bit sketchy on dates too.
My sister and I think that the stone was laid long after he died, as it looks too new to be from the 1850,s. Maybe a relative purchased it?
How far back have you researched this branch? Always love to hear others findings!

RE: Eleanor Jane Sutton Beall & Joseph Fleet Beall
Good morning Amy,

I just finished transferring both Eleanor & Joseph's memorials to you for your additions & maintenance. I will still try to see what I can do about finding the rest of their children and parents to link.

Hope this helps :)

Becky Wilson
Elmina Kingsley Winslow
Elmina is my husband's GGG grandmother. He descends from Charles Francis Winslow, Hattie Caroline Winslow Nethery, Helen Elizabeth Nethery Winningham, Helen Lois Winningham Wilson Kachele. I noticed that you do not have Charles as a child of Elmina. Numerous documents show him as a child. Wondered if you have some additional information that you can share. Thanks so much.

Thank you! I put her in the Bucyrus Cemetery, OH. Findagrave had entries for two Bucyrus Cemeteries. Did I put her in the right one?

RE: Elizabeth Failor
This is your request:

Elizabeth Failor
Is Elizabeth Myers Failor # 41466847 a direct ancestor of yours? If not, could you transfer her to me, or is it possible to link her to her son, my GGgrandfather, Samuel Failor # 52544507?

I would link Samuel to his mother but the child links have to be made through the child. Contact the person who put in Samuel Failor # 52544507 and ask them to link to his mother Elizabeth Myers Failor # 41466847

I did put a link on Elizabeth Myers Failor's memorial to her son but it is only a one way link. The other link will be a two-way link.

Amy, no problem! I'm very glad to help others in their research. That is the main reason I do this. Let me know if I can do anything else for you. Pam

RE: Andrew and Anna Barna
Hi Amy, I am transferring their memorials to you, and I have put them in my virtual cemetary, so don't worry about that. Their daughter, Anna married Jack Wahl, who is directly related to my grandmother on my father's side. I can transfer Andrew and Anna's other kids to your care if you would like, but I want to keep Anna Barna Wahl's memorial. Let me know. Pam

RE: St Mary of the Lake Cemetery
find a grave uses Saint spelled out, not abbreviated. If you move them to the one spelled Saint, I'll put in a correction for the Mary part

RE: Govelitz
Hi Amy, thanks for all the info. If you did the photo for Andrew Barna & Anna Deliman's headstones, would you mind if I copy it for my family tree on ancestry, and my memorials here on F.A.G.? My father's relationship to Anna Barna is that she married Jack Wahl, who is my grandmother's (Josephine (Wahl) Bowlby) brother. I really appreciate all your help in regard to missing info in my family tree. If I can return the favor, please let me know. Pam

Amy, thanks for the info! My Barna ancestors are on my father's side, but haven't heard of the Govelitz's. I will add that name to my tree on I don't know if we have had contact on that site, but you are welcome to use any info I have regarding our common ancestors. Pam

RE: Elkton Cemetery, SD
Hello Amy, Went to both cemeteries in Elkton this last Saturday. Got those requests I found at the time, photographed. Was planning on going back today with an empty memory card in my camera, but the weather isn't cooperating. So I will try to go to the Catholic cemetery and photograph all the stones there. May take a couple trips to achieve that. Then another trip or two or three to photograph all the stones at the city of Elkton cemetery.
