RE: Memorial# 152358657
Thanks so much for the photo. I changed the spelling of the maiden name and changed the death year from 1904 to 1905 as the stone shows.

Thanks so much!

Urilla Rife Stouffer
Thank you for the suggestion to link Urilla to her mother, Margaret. I have ancestral connections to the Rifes and had overlooked linking Urilla to Margaret.
Again, thank you for the suggestion so that I could take care of my oversight.

Hey Bob I thank-you so very much for trying to help me find my family. I was looking for Eliza Cook born 1831-1908 but you said something about Julia Cook which is my great great grandmother but also Julia Cook in 1894 and Julia Grace Cook 1831-1908. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day and thanks for helping people. Jackie

Interesting. Bad source, apparently. I will put a note on the post. He was, however, buried in Chambersburg. Where were the military dead buried in Chambersburg?

Thanks for your efforts.

Thank you so much for your time and efforts. Any picture of burial plot, with or without headstone(s) would be of value for this genealogy tree. Happy Hunting!

RE: Memorial# 115893236 JohnMcGowan

Thanks so much for the info about John McGowan. I found him listed in resources at the Shippensburg Historical Society in their database of area burials. There was a notation that there was a GAR marker but Dennis Brandt researched him and could find no service records. I was guessing that he was buried close to his father and maybe someone mistook the GAR marker for John. That is why I requested a pic of the stone. I don't have any further info on John than what was in the database.

RE: Samuel Robinson, Cedar Grove
I'm sorry but you'll have to clarify who Samuel Robinson is. I find no such name in Cedar Grove Cemetery, and here I presume you mean the one in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. I can find no correspondence that I sent involving this man. However, I engage in thousands of communications, so I may have forgotten.

RE: Mott Schaff, Cedar Grove Cem, Chambersburg, PA
Yes I am very interested in them. These are the Schaff's that I have that are buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Chambersburg: Rev Jacob G. Schaff b. 1835, Savilla Schaff, I James Schaff, Bertha Schaff, and Abigail Schaff.

I do not have Motte L. Schaff, Jacob G. schaff b. 1881 or his wife Mabel b. 1889 or the remaining ones I do not have on the list.

Will be glad to hear back from you.

Thank you very much for the cemetery plot locations. I have added them to the file.

Did you take photo's as well?

If not, I have someone else who is going there this weekend for that purpose and would like to advise them.

Thanks again, JMartin

Thank you so much for the dates and information on burial of wives. It's greatly appreciated. Do you know if there is any more info in cemetery records that might mention parents? Long shot, but I thought I'd give it a try. (By the way I think you were referring to memorial 108109242 instead of one noted in subject line which is son.
Thanks again!
